They haven't talked for almost a week afterward, Link glanced down at his hands sighing softly. Looking behind him, the hero watched the sleeping form on the couch, the blonde fought the urge to wake them. A knock on the door snapped Link from his train of thought, pushing himself off the counter he walked over toward the door, slowly opening it. A small avian with brilliant blue feathers stood at the door, her large almond eyes widened and then returned to their normal size a few minutes later. "I brought you breakfast master Link, as well inviting you to the town celebration!" She beamed.

"Celebration?" The male parroted back.

The small avian nodded her head, "Yes, the town wants to thank you for everything you have done. As well as saving one of our citizens." She answered.

Link took the small tray of food, and smiled softly. "I'm not sure we're up for a party." He admitted, rubbing the back of his head.

The small girl gasped, bringing her hands up to her mouth. "But you have to! We have prepared food and our traditional dance of the stars for you." She said.

Link sighed once more, before nodding his head. "I suppose it won't hurt to celebrate." He smiled.

The avian chirped happily, wrapping her arms around his legs before rushing down the hallway. Link slowly closed the door behind him, setting the tray onto the table, he glanced toward the couch and sat down at the table. He didn't feel like celebrating, him and Sidon have been fighting for a week. Shouting worthless insults at each other, but even if they were empty they still stung. His breakfast sat in his stomach like a rock, pushing the plate away, the male listened as his stomach growled softly.

"Who brought breakfast?" Sidon asked, appearing next to Link.

The blonde jumped slightly, putting a hand on his chest. "Don't do that, you scared me." He growled.

Sidon laughed, "A hero like you scared?" He teased playfully.

Link huffed softly, "You should eat your breakfast, you'll need your energy for the celebration tonight." He said, holding up the plate.

Sidon sat across from the hero, the chair underneath him creaked lowly. Link couldn't help but smirk as he watched the prince in front of him eat. He glanced down at his lap, closing his eyes, and opened his mouth. "I'm sorry." He said.

Sidon paused for a moment, setting his fork down. "Me too." He whispered.

"I know I shouldn't have left without telling you, Sid, but I couldn't let that girl die. Even in my retirement, I can't stand by and let others suffer because I'm a hero." Link clarified.

"You shouldn't go battling bandits. Link, you would have died if I hadn't appeared. What would I do if something happened to you? You're not as young as you used to be." The other questioned, attempting to maintain an equal tone.

"Still younger than you." Link teased with a wide grin.

"There's the root of your problems, you like to show off to older men." The other snorted.

Link began to giggle gently as he pulled back his chair, dashed over to the shark prince, and embraced them. Sidon wrapped his arms around the blonde hero, "You should shower, you stink." He whispered.

Link nodded, making his way into the bedroom, turning the shower on and then hopping into the shower. The hero washed himself for a long moment, leaning against the wall as his mind wondered, Link didn't realize the water turned cold until he shivered. Turning the water off, he quickly got dressed and paused at the doorway. Sidon peeled off the green tunic, tossing it onto the bed and grabbing the blue fabric on the dresser.
