Link counted three weeks they stayed in town, and the blonde hero would be lying if he didn't admit that watching Sidon grow larger during those three weeks was nothing but a turn-on. The first week was nothing but Link and Sidon trying more places to eat, finding out that the shark prince favored stew with potatoes over meat dishes, but nothing beats a well-seasoned fish. Sidon claimed he didn't care what Link made him, but the hero knew otherwise. The second week was nothing but Link buying new clothing for their travels and supplies; luckily, it was pretty cheap because he was the hero of Hyrule, only a few hundred rupees. During the final week in town, Link spent most of his days mentally preparing for their travels across the mountains. Soon, they'd be entering the desert, and the hero didn't know how well Sidon could handle the heat with his extra weight or how he was used to being in moist places.

A pair of arms wrapped around Link, snapping him out of his train of thought. Followed by Sidon burying his face in the nook of the hero's neck, "I can hear you thinking, what's on your mind?" The other male asked.

"Just thinking about tomorrow..." Link trailed off.

"Are you going to be okay? Do you we need to stay longer?" The older male asked.

Link shook his head, pressing his lips into a thin line. His brain screamed at him to tell Sidon he didn't want to leave, but his heart knew they had to. Link brought Sidon on this trip to see Hyrule; it was pretty close for the hero to keep the shark contained in this village longer than intended. They were already pushing three weeks. Link picked at his food momentarily, moving it around on the plate as he focused his eyes on his feet. Sidon finished his food, took the plate from the blonde before eating the untouched food, rubbed his stomach underneath the table, and shifted slightly. Noting his large tan belly brushing against his knees, Sidon burped into his fist, grabbed his stomach, and jiggled it. He noticed how his love handles squished against his plush thighs while the curve of his stomach pushed his moobs further up his chest. If Sidon was honest with himself, at first, he was only gaining weight to make his counterpart happy, but the more prominent he grew, the more he became accustomed to it. He was enjoying the spoils of being what Link called a fat house cat.

Sometimes, Sidon would tease the blonde hero as they ate in public to see the other's face turn beat red. Or watch the blonde male bit his lower lip while gripping his thigh, fighting the urge to jump across the table to fuck the male right there. He also enjoyed pushing himself past full to rip the clothing Link bought him that day to watch the blonde male's face. He didn't like the pain that followed suit, but Link was always beside him, rubbing his taut stomach and whispering sweet nothings into his ear to soothe the shark. The shark prince was enjoying his new life; as much as he wanted to continue their trip, he would be just as happy staying in the village, but Sidon would do whatever Link wanted. Purely to keep a smile on the blonde male's face.

Sidon stared at Link for a long moment, opening his mouth, then closing it a few times before he started speaking. "Are you sure? I don't mind staying longer. I am enjoying our life here." Sidon said, pushing the empty plate to the end of the table.

"What about seeing the rest of Hyrule?" The blonde male asked, arching an eyebrow.

"I'd be happy with what you have shown me, Link; I am having fun spending time with you." The shark prince answered.

"I'll think about it." Link finally responded before going quiet again.

Sidon followed behind the younger male as they walked down the crowded street. He was carrying the ever-growing pile of bags while the blonde dashed in and out of different shops. Once Link was finished, the pair returned to the hotel; Sidon dumped everything onto the kitchen table while Link disappeared into the bedroom. The shark helped sort all the supplies, putting food away, and then scooped up the remaining supplies and carried them into the room, dumping them onto the bed. "I take it you made up your mind..." Sidon trailed off, glancing down at the small pile and then toward the blonde.

"Yeah, it's not fair keeping you here when I brought you to see the world in the first place." Link answered.

"Then, where are we heading next?" The older male quizzed, putting his hands on his hips.

"Heading toward the forest before heading to the more difficult terrain." The blonde replied, grabbing some of the supplies and packing them.

"Hence, why so much supplies?" Sidon quizzed.

"I must ensure you don't burn or dry out. Ensure you are well-fed for the journey; it'll take us at least a few weeks." The blonde answered with a grin.

"What's the village called out there?" Sidon asked, slumping down onto the bed.

"Korok Village, and then we'll be hitting Kakariko Village." Link said. Sidon bit the inside of his cheek, staring at the blonde for a long moment before inhaling softly.

"If we hit two villages, why do we need so many supplies? Wouldn't it be better to wait until we get closer to the dessert before stocking up?" Sidon asked.

"I don't plan on staying that long," The blonde stated.

The shark prince nodded, "It sounds like you want to stay longer," He said.

"You aren't listening to me, Sid; I said I am fine leaving." Link stated, forming two fists beside him.

"I am listening to you, babe; I just want to ensure you know I am fine with whatever we do." The shark answered, holding up both hands.

"Are you trying to start a fight?" He hissed.

"No, I'm just confused about what you want, Link. I repeatedly told you I don't care if we continue or stay. I am happy doing this every day. Are you trying to start a fight?" Sidon countered.

Link rolled his eyes, making a noise in the back of his throat, placing his hands on his hips. "Of course, you turn this into a fight." He snapped.

"Nobody was turning this into a fight until you did!" Sidon shouted. "Stop being a coward and tell me what the fuck you want for once!" He continued, throwing his arms in the air.

Link opened his mouth, then closed it, shaking his head. Then, he tossed his hands into the air and walked away. "I can't be around you right now." He growled.

Sidon didn't allow Link to leave the hotel room, standing before the door. "Just tell me what you want, Link; it's not that hard." He stated, crossing his arms over his chest.

"I want to go, and we are leaving tomorrow." Link demanded.

"Okay, do you want some help packing?" The older male asked, watching the younger male relax slightly.

Sidon watched the male slowly back away from the door, staring at him for a long moment. "I'm sorry, I don't know why I got so angry." He whispered.

"Look, I think we both need to leave just to relax a little. Being cooped up is messing with our brains." Sidon said.

The blonde was silent, eyes flicking down to his feet then back up at Sidon. Chewing on his bottom lip a few minutes before nodding his head. "As much as I want to stay, I think you're right..." The blonde trailed off.

"Do you want help packing the rest of the supplies into the wagon?" Sidon asked.

"No, thank you. I want you to sit there and look cute." Link smirked, pecking the other on the cheek before returning to the living room to grab the rest of the supplies.
