Link had been staying in Lureline Village for a week, and during that time, the male had observed Sidon steadily get larger. To the point where Link was hiding in the doorway, watching Sidon stare at himself in the floor length mirror, the shark's pot belly was pooching heavily over the ripped waistband of the cotton pants, the shark gently lifted the large orb and let go, watching it wobble up and down until it settled once more, his brow furrowed, and lips pressed tightly together. The second man sank onto the edge of the bed, cringing as a loud ripping sound resonated through the room. He groans and spreads his legs slightly, running a finger over the enormous gap in his thigh. As Sidon took off the tattered pants, kicking them to the side and replacing them with slightly more comfortable pants on the bed, Link chewed the inside of his cheek as heat pooled inside his stomach.
Sidon grimaced as he looked back at the mirror, staring at his moobs that were sitting on the huge curve of his abdomen. Sighing, he decided it was worth a shot, even though he knew the tunic wouldn't fit and would definitely rip if he tried to pull it down. Grabbing the silky fabric, the male inhaled and then breathed quietly, pulling the shirt over his head and winced at the soft tearing that came from the sleeves. Sidon kept carefully dragging the tunic down, groaning as the cloth rolled underneath his moobs and wouldn't budge, partially relaxing the shark clenched his eyes shut as the tearing progressed down the sleeves, the male gnawing the bottom of his lip as the ripped garment fell to the ground. Sidon had predicted this would be an issue three days ago, and to be honest, the male had assumed they would have moved on by now, but Link had elected to stay longer.
Link cautiously walked into the room as the male pulled the looser shirt over his head. "Ready to go explore some more?" He quizzed.
"Yeah sure," The other male replied, as the hero scooped up their keycard and locked the room behind them.
"How much longer do you expect to stay here?" Sidon questioned, as they walked down the cobblestone sidewalk.
Link swallowed thickly, picking at his fingernails. "H-H-How about we talk about this over lunch?" The blonde male asked.
Sidon nodded his head, following the younger male towards a small cafe. It didn't take long for them to be seated, Sidon slid into the booth while Link thanked the server and scanned the menu. The shark waited until they ordered their drinks and food to bring up the question again, watching the hero's face contort into discomfort. "I don't know, why aren't you having fun?" Link countered.
"Of course, I am Link, I just thought that we're traveling around Hyrule." He answered with a shrug.
"There is no rush isn't there, like you said we can stay here as long as we want." Link replied.
"I didn't think we'd be here for a week; we've never stayed somewhere this long. Why are you prolonging us leaving?" The male questioned, narrowing his eyes at the younger male.
Before Link could open his mouth to respond, the server returned with their dinner. Link could hear his heartbeat and the flow of his blood in his ears as the two stared at one other for a long time. Link was the first to break eye contact, shoving his meal into his mouth, while Sidon continued to stare at the hero before unwillingly starting to eat as well. The first five plates were readily consumed; however, when Sidon began his sixth dish, the male had to take a break to message his stomach and burp into his fist. The shark expected the blonde to get out of his seat and sit next to him, rubbing his cool hands against the taut skin, but Link didn't move.
Sidon nursed his drink with one hand tucked beneath his stomach. Link was no longer paying attention to the other at a point, with his gaze fixed on his own plate. Uncertainty began to gnaw at Sidon's stomach, so he wet his lips and went to speak, only to promptly seal his mouth and order a seventh plate. Sidon made it to plate number nine before realizing he couldn't breathe and that his stomach was so full it was unquestionably pressing against his lungs. Sidon placed the little stack of plates to the side of the table, nodding to the waiter, who blushed and swiftly vanished into the kitchen.
"Are we going to talk about this, or are we turning this into another fight?" Sidon finally questioned, as Link glanced up.
"I don't want to fight..." Link trailed off, poking his food.
"Then talk to me, what is going on?" The other male urged.
"Do you want to stay here?" The blonde questioned, pushing his plate away with a sigh.
"You mean afterward?" The shark asked.
"No, I mean now. We don't have to see the rest of Hyrule, I've seen it once there isn't anything special." The hero stated.
"Wasn't this whole trip you're idea?" Sidon asked, arching an eyebrow.
"Yeah, it was. But I don't know if I want to go back to the castle." Link admitted sheepishly.
Sidon let out a small sigh, closing his eyes for a moment. "What if Zelda needs, you're help again? Just because evil is gone for now doesn't mean it's gone forever." He questioned.
"They can find a new hero then!" Link suddenly shouted slamming his hand on the table. Causing the other to flinch slightly.
Relaxing once again, the male opened his eyes. Sidon sat up wincing as pain radiated through his stomach. Pushing the pain to the back of his head, setting a hand on Link's hand. "Talk to me, what's wrong?" He whispered.
"I want to stay here, with you..." Link whispered, tears pricking the corners of his eyes.
"Okay, if that's what you want Link. We can stay here forever, just us." Sidon answered with a soft smile.
