Sidon stared at the small village, his eyes wide with amusement as the villagers picked Link up carrying him to the town square where a large round table sat. In the middle of the table was a small wooden statue of the hero, while along the rim were filled plates and different dishes. Link was seated on a large wooden throne, while Sidon sat next to him, each villager would slowly bring different dishes to the hero, who would take a few bites then quickly slide the dish toward the Zora, to polish off. The Zora would stare at the plate for a few minutes before taking small bites of food. Link would smile, patting his arm as the villagers continued, soon afterward music echoed throughout the whole village, and the citizens started dancing in front of the table.

The blonde watched the shark prince for a few minutes, before taking a few forkfuls of food and shoving it into his mouth. The Zora let out a small yelp chewing the food slowly, before swallowing, this continued for a few plates before Sidon whimpered, putting a hand on his small bloated belly. "Too much food." He whined.

Link laughed, the sound made Sidon's cheeks darken. "You only had a few plates, are you going let a Hyrulian outeat you?" He challenged with a large grin.

"I'm not used to that much food..." The shark grumbled.

"It'll get easier," Link promised, patting his arm gently before turning his attention back toward the villagers. Sidon got lost in the music for a moment, subconsciously snacking on the different dishes in front of him, his stomach slowly taking over his small lap. The shark prince was jolted from his train of thought by the colored explosions that lit up the sky. The villagers cheered while Link hopped on the table and began dancing with them. Sidon blushed, clapping to the beat of the music.

It was hours before Link carried the shark prince to their hotel room, gently laying him down as the other moaned. "Told you too much food." He groaned, cradling his belly.

"I didn't force you to eat that much, Sid." Link chuckled, sitting down on the edge of the bed. "We'll be in Hateno Village for a few days, so we'll have plenty of time to relax." He added, leaning against the other.

"Plenty of time to torture me, ya mean." Sidon groaned again, rolling onto his side.

"Sid, do you ever think about settling down with someone?" Link suddenly asked.

"Father wishes I would, he's hoping will open my eyes and force me to think about life." He answered.

"Then why did you come?" The blonde hero quizzed.

"You asked me to Link, you're my friend. I'd do anything with you." Sidon smiled.

The word friend was like a punch in the gut to the hero, he stared at Sidon for a long moment. His mouth was forced into a thin line, while the other piled the pillows behind him. It was no secret to anyone who looked close enough Link loved Sidon, the hero hung on every word the other spoke. After a few more minutes the blonde opened his mouth to speak, "So if I asked you to jump off of Gorgon bridge would you?" He asked.

"Is there water underneath?" Sidon mused.

"Isn't lava the same thing?" Link quizzed with a smile.

"No, they are two different things altogether." The shark snorted.

"Okay, in this scenario the lava has been replaced by water." Link said waving a hand in front of him.

"Would you jump with me?" The other questioned.

"Fuck no, you know how high that is!?" The younger male screeched.

Sidon chuckled to himself, "Yet, you fight monsters and glide over lava pits." He stated.

"Those I know I can live from, I just have to time my jumps and attacks. Jumping from a bridge is a fifty-fifty shot of surviving." Link explained.

"You have fairies to bring you back to life." Sidon pointed out.

"What if I need those for battle?" Link countered. The shark prince rolled his eyes, Link let out a frustrated growl. "Would you!?" He shouted.

"If you asked me to, I would, my hero." Sidon bowed his head slightly toward the other.

"I'm not your hero anymore, Gannon is gone." Link sighed.

"You'll always be my hero Link, you saved my kingdom," Sidon replied.

"What if I want to be something more?" The hero asked softly.

"Like what?" Sidon questioned, tilting his head to the side.

"I don't know, what if I wanted to settle down with you?" The blonde hero inquired.

"Why would you want that? There are plenty of women or men for you Link." Sidon asked.

The blonde hero didn't say anything, he simply stood, "I'm going to go for a walk, I'll see you in the morning." He said before walking out of the room.

When Sidon woke up again, Link wasn't in the bed next to him. The memory of last night was foggy, the shark rubbed the sleep from his eyes stretching before sliding out of the bed. Pulling his clothes on before checking the bathroom. "Link?" He called walking around the small hotel room, letting out a small hum when he couldn't find the human. Walking outside, the Zora waved at the villagers and walked down the dirt path scanning the village for the lost hero.

After an hour, Sidon let out a small sigh. "Did I do something to upset him?" He thought while sitting down on the small rock wall. Digging his claws into the dirt, then scooping it into a small pile in front of him. The shark was too lost in thought to feel something poking his shoulder, a sharp jab to the side jolted him from his train of thought, spinning his head around to meet Link's eyes.

"There you are! When I woke up you weren't in the room. Are you okay?" Sidon asked to hope from the wall.

"Yeah, I went for a walk and lost track of the time, sorry." Link admitted rubbing the back of his head.

"Did I say something to upset you last night?" Sidon asked.

The blonde hero stared at him for a long moment, "No," He lied.

"Good, I didn't want to hurt you, Link. I cherish what we have." The shark commented, gesturing toward himself.

"Me too Sid," Link muttered under his breath, "Did you sleep alright?" He asked, changing the topic quickly.

"It was alright, I'm not used to sleeping on beds made of cotton." The prince admitted.

"Don't you guys have cotton in your kingdom?" The hero quizzed.

"We're a fish species, Link, I don't think anyone has seen a sheep before." Sidon joked with a loud chuckle.

"I would love to see the look on the king's face if you brought home a sheep." The hero chuckled.

"My father would probably eat it, to be honest." The other snickered. "What do we have planned for today?" He quizzed.

"I was thinking of exploring the city a little, maybe being showered with more food." Link said.

The shark's stomach lurched at the thought of more food, "I hope not, my stomach is screaming at me." He groaned.

Link threw back his head and laughed, putting a hand on his stomach as he wheezed. "You did eat a lot last night, surprised your stomach isn't still bloated." The hero commented poking the other's stomach gently. Sidon followed the hero's gaze, his flat stomach didn't show his indulgence last night.

"Zora's have a high metabolism, we need it to survive the cold water," Sidon explained.

"So is it even possible for you to gain weight?" Link blurted. The moment the words left his mouth the hero's eyes grew wide as he covered his mouth.

"I suppose so, but it would take a lot of calories and constant food." The shark said with a shrug. The taller male looked up at the sky and then back down at the ground. "Should we head out, there is a lot to explore in this village?" He asked, gesturing with his thumb toward the small town.

Link nodded, hopping off the wall, following closely to the other as they walked further into the town square.
