Link woke up early the next morning, padding down into the kitchen. The blonde scanned the empty kitchen, quickly grabbed some eggs from the fridge, and started cooking. Once done, the male quickly tossed his bowl into the sink and headed toward the garden. Link always came to the garden when he couldn't think, sitting down on the stone bench and rummaging through his pocket until he pulled out the small black box and examined it for a few moments. The blonde chewed on the inside of his cheek for a few moments, snapping open the box and staring at the bright blue ring made from shells. The hero's heart beat against his chest, and as his hands shook, Link knew he wanted to spend the rest of his life with the other male. Sidon expressed the same back at the village, but a lingering feeling bubbled in Link's chest.

Was Sidon only agreeing to make him happy? Shaking the thought from his head, Link snapped the box closed quickly and shoved it back into his pocket. Today they'd be traveling back to the Zora Domain, where Link would ask Sidon's father for his blessing. Nervous was an understatement for the blonde; if he was being honest, he was terrified of the king. Everyone in Hyrule knew that when the king died, it would be the shark prince to take over the domain and rule the Zora's until an heir was present. Another wave of nerves washed over the male as he picked at his nails.

What if the king refused Sidon to marry Link? There was no way Sidon's father would say no; everyone loved Link. But responsibility was more important than love, sighing Link pushed himself off the bench, reached into his pocket, and squeezed the box before walking back into the castle. As Link made it back to the room, he noticed the other male was in the shower, inhaling. The blonde sat on the edge of the bed, staring down at the floor. Link was too lost in his thoughts to hear the door opening a few moments later, being snapped from his train of thought by two large arms wrapping around him. "There you are; I was worried someone stole you or something," Sidon said, blurring his face into the crook of the blonde's neck. The male smirked, shaking his head and hugging the shark's arm. The prince lay down next to the other, curling around the blonde and setting his head on the hero's chest. "So, where did you run off to?" He quizzed.

"I just had to think," Link replied, propping his arm behind his head.

"Nothing too serious, I hope." The other responded, glancing up.

Link smirked, shaking his head. "No, just thinking about how we're almost home-free. Soon it'll just be me and you back in our small village." He answered.

"Speaking of village, are we going to be living out of a hotel? Or are we going to buy a house?" Sidon asked.

The blonde barked out a laugh. "I was thinking somewhere outside the village, maybe close to the beach. We could hire someone to build us a house; that way, we have some privacy." Link said.

They were silent for a long moment. Sidon traced his clawed finger on Link's chest for a few seconds. Sighing and sitting up, "Are you worried about my father?" He finally asked.

The blonde sat up slowly, continuing to look at Sidon. "A little, but not for the reason you think." With a wave of his hands, he responded.

"Let me guess, it has something to do with your surprise." The shark raised an eyebrow in skepticism.

"I swear it does; once I have everything ready, I promise you'll see what I have planned for you." Quickly grasping Sidon's hands in his, Link soothed him.

"Alright, I believe you. I just don't want to lose you, Link... I never felt this way for someone  before. The shark trailed off.

"You won't...Promise." The blonde responded, pulling the other into a hug.

The blonde was too lost in thought as Sidon packed a small overnight bag for the both of them. Link would answer with a simple head nod or shake as the other male asked what he wanted to pack before heading out. It didn't take them long to get to the Zora Domain with Sidon leading them; if Link had to guess, it only took them a couple of hours. Link swallowed hard as he trailed behind Sidon, staring at the massive underwater castle that towered over him. As Sidon approached the large platform, a few feet in front of him were three thrones, two of which were abandoned and the middle of which was where his father sat.
