Sadé's POV:

— October 26, At The Studio

I was sat on one of the producer chairs next to Denaun because Marshall was showing me some things while he was working. Marshall had just left the room though because apparently Paul wanted him for something. When duty calls you have to attend or whatever that saying is... I don't know. Chile, anyways.

A minute after he left while I was scrolling on my phone, Skylar walked in. I was slightly taken aback because she wasn't here the entire day so I just assumed she wasn't coming. See the thing is, I'm not stupid. I knew there was a possibility she'd be here. Her and Marshall work together. Also, I knew he wouldn't have asked me to come with him on a day that he knew she'd be here because he doesn't want me to get into trouble. That's why I said slightly, and not entirely taken aback.

That's also part of the reason why I was so happy that Marshall had asked me to come to the studio today: Because it meant I could finally get a chance at this hooligan. I'd been pissed off the entire time with her ever since everything went down. Then after Marshall told me the full story, oh, I was furious.

So when she walked in, I already had my guard up. She wasn't about to catch me slipping. I know she does people dirty and I've seen it with my own eyes. So if she thought she was going to get one up on me she wasn't. I know I shouldn't beat her ass at Marshall's workplace, but I didn't know where the girl lived so I had no other choice. I was simply waiting for the right moment.

She walked past me, my eyes trained on her the entire time, as she went up to Denaun, who was sat next to me on my right. She asked him if he could help her with some vocals or something. He gave me a side eye, but nonetheless, he agreed. He already knew what was up. I could just tell by the look he gave me, and also because he already knew all that went down. Or at least what happened at Boogie's release party anyways. I don't know if Marshall told him about what happened in Vegas or before that, but that wasn't my business.

So she walks past me again in order to get into the recording booth since the door to enter is on my left. I caught her rolling her eyes at me as she entered, but I didn't give her the time of day. I continued to scroll on my phone on social media as she did whatever. I couldn't hear because they had it on the setting where you can only hear what was being said if you had the producer headphones on, which I took off. About two minutes had passed by when I noticed Denaun take his headphones off as Skylar walked back out, looking rather upset. That was quick, I thought. She sat behind me on one of the couches.

"Maybe you should just change that lyric. It doesn't really flow well with the rest of the song. That's all I'm saying." Denaun suggested to her.

"I guess. So how has everyone been?" She tried to make conversation with the rest of the group as she wrote lyrics down.

Denaun didn't respond, and neither did I. However, Royce and Boogie did as they began to get wrapped up in their own conversation. I didn't really care for what they were talking about so I tuned them out.

"Look, I know you two got some shit going on. She been eyeing you the entire time in case you haven't noticed. All Ima say is don't do anything Marshall wouldn't be proud of." Naunie tried to preach to me.

"Denaun, with all due respect, please do not tell me that bullshit. You don't even know the half of what this bitch put me through. So I'm going to tell you just like I told Marshall: You better not stop me. Because she has it coming." I looked at him, telling him truthfully that I really didn't give an entire fuck about what he was saying to me.
