Sadé's POV:

— Saturday, November 5th

I was driving my pink Range Rover, on my way to Hailie's house. It was some time around lunch time. We had decided to spend the day together this Saturday. We were going to head out to lunch then go and show ourselves some love with a self care day. Even though I had just went on a self care day over a week ago, I was so stressed out and I really needed this. I also just wanted to spend some quality time with my girl, Hailie. So we were planning to get our hair done, get our nails done, and get waxed. I had already gotten my lash extensions done so I didn't need to get them filled in or redone today.

I had wore a basic outfit. I haven't really been feeling like dressing up or putting much effort into my appearance since everything went down. I was just overly tired - Overly done with it all. So I threw on a pair of Marshall's sweatpants that were so big on me I had to triple tie the drawstrings, a light grey hoodie, and a green jacket. I wore my Yeezy slides and socks, not really caring how I looked. I didn't bother with makeup, and my currently blonde hair was thrown up in a half up half down do.

I had just arrived to Hailie's house and texted her that I was here

I had just arrived to Hailie's house and texted her that I was here. I parked my truck in her driveway, waiting for her to come out. It was so cold here in The D now that I literally didn't even want to step outside. I turned my heat on full blast, warming myself and the car up. Hai eventually came out, getting inside the car & putting her seatbelt on.

"Hey, girl! I missed you even tho I just saw you before you left." She greeted me, laughing.

"Well, I'm backkk." I gave jazz hands with a smile.

"I'm sorry all that happened to you. I can't imagine how you must be feeling right now." She sympathized as I started to drive to the cafe we would be having lunch at.

"It's..." I sighed tiredly, "It is what it is. Things happen for a reason. Hopefully things will work themselves out."

"What are you going to do about your videos? You can always film at my house, ya' know." She offered.

"Thanks, but I'm not filming anymore. I don't really want to do the whole social media thing anymore. I'm just going to finish up these brand deals by Monday and Tuesday, publish them, then just go ghost. I don't want to be on the internet anymore." I told her numbly.

I didn't have any emotion when talking about this anymore. The whole situation just kind of made me turned off from the world. And I didn't want to give it anymore of my time nor energy. So whenever I talked about it or anything I just didn't show any emotion: I had become numb to all of the bullshit at this point.
