Marshall's POV:
— November 17th, 11:00PM
I walk through the hotel parking lot, looking for Malik. He said he would be in a black Lamborghini Urus Mansory.
It wasn't the car alone that helped me find him, but rather the fact that he was stood outside of it with two other dudes that I didn't know. I'm not gonna lie, I was on edge. My mind was racing with thoughts of what if this lil' dude was testing me to see if I would go back to my old ways or be violent to see if I was fit to be with Sadé; Or better yet, what if he was testing me to see if I really would protect her like I promised I always would? I don't know, but it seems like these thoughts are mere thoughts because I didn't dwell on them for too long.
"Yo, what up, Malik." I dapped him up.
"What up." He greeted in return, "I got my cousins here with me tonight. They already know what's up with Zach, right now. That's Marco & that's Dallas." He explained who the other two men were, and why they were here.
Malik & Sadé's cousins. Good to know that her family definitely rides for her, I thought to myself. Seems like despite their family dynamic, drama, and affairs that she has opened up to me about that bothers her, one thing's for certain and two thing's for sure: Sadé is very important to them, loved, and protected.
"Marshall." I briefly introduced myself.
"Marco."
"What up, man. Dallas."
I would've preferred to meet more of her family under better circumstances, but this'll have to do. The two of them seemed like cool dudes anyways so it was no biggie.
We were all about to get in the car before Malik stopped me by grabbing my shoulder. I gave him a suspicious look, knowing we were going at it not even a few hours ago. He raised his eyebrows, giving me a look.
