Hikari Miyazaki
A young female stared out at the window, seeing a butterfly garden outside. She sighed softly, looking down at the floor now.
That small child's name was Hikari Miyazaki. 13 years old, and Tsugoko to the Rainbow Hashira, Kiko Suzuki. Ever since the events half a year ago, things have been rather quiet. Yet tense. Hikari had been keeping to herself most of the time. However, the events had hurt her too. Why?
Her older sister had passed. She had lost her older sister to Muzan Kibutsuji. For the past few weeks, Hikari had cried herself to sleep at times. But now lately...She felt like she couldn't cry anymore. She felt... numb. But still, a part of this had still hurt her.
"How can I... live on without her? How does she expect me to live on without a worry?" Before the events of what had happened, her older sister had told her this.
"If I'm gone one day, I want you to live on without me. Don't worry about anything else but yourself."
How can she do that? When the sibling she's looked up to has passed? Hikari pressed a hand to the window. Suddenly, that hand had clenched up onto a fist. She quickly closed her eyes, feeling tears coming in. Suddenly, a noise behind her was heard. It was like a door quietly opening. The small child looked behind her, seeing a box quietly opening. A female quietly crawled out of the box. Hikari's face softened, seeing her.
It was Tanjiro Kamado's younger sister, Nezuko Kamado. Seeing the look on Hikari's face, Nezuko's eyebrows furrowed in worry. Hikari then quickly wiped away her tears.
"I'm okay, Nezuko. I promise. I know I'm taking care of you in your brother's place, but... you shouldn't worry about me either." Nezuko got even more worried, seeing her expression. She then grew into her normal size, then walking over to Hikari, sitting down next to her. She then pulled the female into a hug.
Hikari had buried her face into Nezuko's shoulder, hugging her tightly. Nezuko gently patted her head gently. Hikari then hummed softly, closing her eyes. The two of them then pulled away. Nezuko then gently held onto Hikari's hands. Hikari had paused for a moment. She then blushed a little at that. Why? Well, Hikari had the biggest crush on Nezuko for the longest time. But she was obviously too nervous to tell her. She was even afraid of telling her brother that. So, for the past few months, she's kept it to herself. Nezuko had noticed her blushing face. Hikari had looked away, trying to ignore the blush on her face.
Nezuko then gently grabbed Hikari by the shoulders, then gently pulling her down to the bed, where the two could lay down. Hikari blushed even more. She hummed softly, as she closed her eyes. "I... I guess some sleep wouldn't hurt. Kanao and Miss Shinobu wouldn't want me to work myself too hard anyway..." Nezuko patted her head gently. She then pulled the female close to her chest. In an instant, Hikari had fallen asleep in Nezuko's arms.
Midnight
Hikari didn't know how this started. It all started when she was asleep at the Butterfly Mansion. And all of a sudden, she had woken up due to an explosion outside. She didn't even realize what was going on until she had seen smoke, and many demons outside. Hikari knew that something was wrong. She immediately but gently shook Nezuko awake. Nezuko had immediately woke up, staring at Hikari with a confused expression. Hikari had pointed outside. Nezuko turned around, and her eyes widened.
And the next thing she knew, her older sister figure, Kanao had ran into the room that Hikari was in and told her to get outside. Hikari was already up and grabbing her sword. Nezuko was already behind her. Fortunately, she was already in uniform at the time too. And she didn't forget to take Tanjiro's box with her in case something happened. When she came outside, Hikari couldn't believe it. So, what she saw earlier wasn't a dream.
