Muzan Kibutsuji

A man was standing with a fortress, his back turned to the halls of the fortress. He was sipping out of a glass, then placing it down. He had stayed silent for a few moments, before he narrowed his red eyes. He then scoffed a little.

"Those three were fools." He had begun. "What made them think that they were going to escape from this alive?" He had clearly recalled that he had sent a few demons a demon slayer that he had taken once more. He thought that he had truly gotten what he had come for. However, he was wrong.

Two others had come in to rescue him. He was angry. Angry that they had come in. He recalled that it was only just the two of them at the time. Muzan truly thought that it was rather amusing, seeing that they thought that they would get out of this alive. He then suddenly heard a few voices behind him.

"Lord Muzan?" The man had turned around, seeing a few demons bowing before him. However, his eyes had narrowed once more. "Who said you could address me before I can even speak?"

"Apologies, Lord Muzan." The man had stayed quiet before slowly walking down a small staircase in front of him. He then slowly crossed his arms. "Are you all aware of... the situation that had taken place half a year ago?" He had heard the other say yes in reply. He had hummed softly. "Good."

He then looked away for a few moments. It seemed like he was thinking of something else. "Now that I've eliminated them, I believe it is time." The other demons in front of him had stayed silent. What could the demon be saying? "Time to take everyone else out with it."

He had turned around once more, then making eye contact with one of the demons. "And you all will be the ones to do so. Do not fail me."

"We'll get the job done, Lord Muzan. We won't let you down."

"You all are dismissed."

In an instant, the demons had either walked or jumped away from the platform that they were bowing on. This had left Muzan alone for the time being. "You really thought that I was going to be done after defeating those three, huh?" He had mumbled under his breath. A smirk then slowly formed on his face.

Oh no, things weren't finished. He was going to take down all of them. Every single one of the demon slayers out there. "I wasn't done to begin with. I'm going to kill every single demon slayer out there. Starting with the leader."

He then felt his fists clench. He wasn't going to back down from this. However, he was going to show up at the perfect moment. "Kanjoro... he really thought that he would escape. He was wrong. What a fool." He originally had the plan of turning Kanjoro against his friends with a little bit of his own blood. However, it seemed like Kanjoro was a bit more stubborn that he had thought.

Thanks to two demon slayers who had rushed in. A boy and a girl. Muzan should've known to keep tabs on Kanjoro. But now that he had eliminated them, he had no use for them anymore. He could only hope that the demons, specifically the Twelve Kizuki, could handle this job. However, his eyes widened at something else. Kanjoro... had someone that he had loved dearly.

The burgundy haired boy with Hanafuda earrings. Muzan's expression had changed, remembering him.

"The one with Hanafuda earrings... I nearly had forgotten about him. Who knew he would love a demon. One of the Twelve Kizuki. Upper Moon 0 to be exact." He had mumbled under his breath. Of course, he was going to send the Upper Moons after him too.

"I'll be the one who comes out victorious. I'll be the most powerful being out there. And none of the demon slayers will stop me from reaching my goal.

"He then started walking down the halls. The halls were rather eerie and quiet. A few of the demons had stared at him as he was walking down the halls but looked away. They feared him. Just as what Muzan thought it would be.

"Nakime... I thought she would be of better use to me after the capture. But I guess not." He had muttered out loud. "Foolish woman." A while ago, there was a woman with a biwa who went by the name of Nakime. Nakime was the one in charge of summoning the demons to Muzan, so naturally, she summoned Kanjoro to Muzan at times. But knowing that Kanjoro had escaped, he knew that he had no use for her anymore. So... he had finished her.

He had smirked, as he stared out at the night sky. It was time to take on the demon slayers. Finish them all off. And he had the perfect idea to do so.

Midnight

Everything had suddenly stopped when an explosion was heard outside. Muzan heard it but didn't flinch at that. However, he did glance around a bit to see where it came from. He glanced a little to his right, to see smoke coming out from a far distance, and heard lots of screams. He had paused for a moment. He had already realized one thing.

This was near the Demon Slayer headquarters. A smirk then came on his face. He then turned his head towards the Twelve Kizuki, who were sitting separately from each other, but not too far in case they needed to talk. "You all start now. Go out there and take out all of the Demon Slayers. And do not fail me."

The Upper Moons were quiet for a few moments before running out of the fortress. Muzan's smirk had grew wider, as he processed this. "Now, it's truly time for a war to begin."

He had seen the Upper Moons race out of the fortress, and towards the headquarters. Kokushibo, Upper Moon One. Douma, Upper Moon Two. Akaza, Upper Moon Three. Tomiko, Upper Moon Four. The replacement after the previous one had been killed by Muzan himself. Haruki, Upper Moon Five. The replacement of the previous one, dead by the same cause. And Kaigaku, Upper Moon Six. The replacement of Daki and Gyutaro, the previous Upper Moon Six.

He knew that those Upper Moons would do well. If he wanted to end this war with him winning, wouldn't he go out there and kill them all? Well, that's what he would do. However, he thought it would be no fun. So, he would simply decide to sit back and watch for now.

And wait for the perfect moment to strike. A smirk came on his face once more.

"Jumping into the fight is no fun. I'll wait for the perfect moment to strike. This war will be fun to watch."
