Chapter 3: In trouble

Kyo Tomioka

A young man was sitting nearby the headquarters of the Demon Slayer Corps. He was lost in thought at the moment, as he felt the wind blow past him. He had messy black hair but had bandages over his eyes. He had the usual demon slayer uniform and is wearing a blue haori with a wave pattern in on it. His name was Kyo Tomioka, Giyu Tomioka's older brother and the Vibration Hashira.

He crossed his arms, as he continued to think for another few moments. However, a voice had interrupted his thoughts. "Tomioka? Am I... interrupting something?"

Kyo knew who that voice was. A small smile came on his face, knowing who it was from. Using Echolocation, he could see that someone was near him at the moment. "Ah, no, not at all, Genya. What is it?"

A boy with raven hair, had sat down next to Kyo. The boy then scratched his head. "Well... nothing much, really." He had begun. "Where's... my brother?" He had asked. Kyo had paused for a moment. He then spoke up after a few seconds of thinking. "I believe he's at his estate at the moment. Why do you ask?" Kyo had questioned. 

Genya had a nervous expression on his face. "Well... he's looking for you." Kyo had paused for a moment. He had already sensed him coming. "I figured. I sensed him coming."

Suddenly, footsteps were heard, and a young man with white hair had taken notice of the two chatting. It was Kyo's boyfriend, Sanemi Shinazugawa. He was also the older brother of Genya Shinazugawa. Although for some reason, Sanemi doesn't tend to acknowledge Genya. And when he does, he would push Genya away frequently. Kyo had always scolded Sanemi for that. He was already annoyed at the fact that Sanemi had done this several times.

"Hey Sanemi-" Kyo had begun, but before he could speak any further, Sanemi had immediately spoke up. "What is he doing here?" Sanemi had asked. Kyo knew who he was talking about. Genya was still standing there. A frown then came on his face. "I'm just having a chat with him-" Genya had begun, but Sanemi had cut him off.

"Yeah, whatever. I'm here for my boyfriend. Give us some space." Sanemi said, scoffing. Kyo had crossed his arms, sighing. "Sanemi, quit it with that. He can stay and chat with us. You should be a bit nicer to your brother." Kyo had pointed out, crossing his arms. "He's not my brother. I told you this so many times, Kyo." That made Kyo sigh softly, facepalming.

"Sanemi, stop being mean-" Kyo had begun, but Genya had interrupted him. "Tomioka, it's fine-" Genya had begun. Kyo had immediately shaken his head afterwards. "I'm going to make you sleep outside again if you're going to keep being mean to your brother."

That made Sanemi stay silent for a few moments. He then scoffed once more. "Fine. You're lucky I love you..." Sanemi had muttered under his breath. Genya had smiled slightly at Kyo and thanked him quietly. Kyo then crossed his arms. Suddenly, another pair of footsteps were heard. Using echolocation, Kyo could see who was coming.

It was a rather tall male, wearing a raven-colored demon slayer uniform and spiky black hair. He had only white irises in his eyes, meaning that he was blind. Kyo immediately recognized him as Gyomei Himejima, the Stone Hashira. "Hello Himejima." Kyo had stated, a small smile coming on his face. Gyomei had hummed softly in response. "Hello Tomioka. Hello everyone." He had begun. "May I join you all?"

"Sure, that's fine. We were all just starting to chat." Kyo had stated, nodding in reply. Suddenly, Genya had spoke up. "It's been... half a year, hasn't it?" Genya had suddenly asked. Kyo had nodded in agreement. "Yeah... it has. Everything's been... rather tense ever since that day." He had stated. Sanemi then scoffed. "Yeah, tell me about it. Where in the world is Suzuki when you need her?" He had questioned. Kyo had raised an eyebrow.
