The trio was sprinting through the field, wondering where Muzan was at as of now.  They were told that he was not too far from the headquarters.  All of a sudden, Kanjoro had stopped, extending his arms in front of his two friends.

Fortunately, Rinna and her friends had the plans to take out the rest of the demons while the trio ran off.  "Wait, what's wrong?"  Shinozuka had asked.  Kanjoro then shushed him, before pointing over there.  Taeko peeked over to see what was going on.  Her eyes then widened in horror.  The three could not believe the scene in front of them.

In front of the trio, was a giant demon of some sort.  The demon's hair had grown and turned white.  His skin was pale, although slowly turning red, and many scars were all over his body.  All over his body, it looked like to be whips with claws all over them.  They had spawned in from his body.  And in front of the demon, was three very familiar demon slayers.  Not referring to the trio that just got to the scene, of course.

"What in the world is that...?"  Taeko had muttered under her breath.  Kanjoro then paused for a moment.  "Muzan..."  He had muttered.  "We have to get in there..."  Shinozuka had muttered.  "Right, let's go."  Kanjoro had stated, then running in.  Shinozuka had ran in after him, Taeko following suit.

As they were running, they heard Muzan speak, causing the trio to hide in a bush.  "Huh... I sense a group of three coming.  I wonder... who could it be?"  Muzan had stated, smirking.  Taeko then turned her head to the three demon slayers in front of her.  Her eyes widened once more.  "Oh no... is that..."  She had begun.  The three demon slayers were heavily injured, but somehow, not giving into their injuries.

"Tanjiro... Inosuke... Zenitsu..."  Kanjoro had mumbled, covering his mouth in horror.  Shinozuka clenched his fists.  "So... what's the plan?  We can't stand here forever."  Shinozuka had pointed out.  Kanjoro then spoke up.  "We rush in.  He already knows we're here."  Kanjoro then immediately stands up, running towards Muzan.  Shinozuka and Taeko followed suit.

"Blood Breathing, 1st Form, Blood Death Scythe Cut!"

"Nature Breathing, 4th Form, Nature's Trap!"

"Jewel Breathing, 2nd Form, Sapphire Twilight!"

Blood, vines, and sapphires had attacked Muzan's whips.  Although it did, it regenerated right away.  The trio had landed on the ground in front of the three injured demon slayers.  "Are we... are we too late?"  Taeko had asked, stopping to catch her breath.  Despite it being one attack, it could easily take out some of her energy, causing her to tire out easily.  "I hope not-" Shinozuka had begun, but a voice had interrupted his sentence.

"I-It can't be..."

Kanjoro then turned around, seeing who had said that.  It was Tanjiro, who had just gotten back up on his feet.  Kanjoro then quickly walked over to Tanjiro, checking up on him.  "Tanjiro, don't move!  Your injuries are far worse than you think-"

"A-Am I dreaming right now... please tell me I'm dreaming right now..."  Kanjoro then felt Tanjiro hug him tightly.  Nonetheless, Kanjoro had hugged him back.  He then shook his head.

"I'm not... I'm really here."  Kanjoro heard Tanjiro sob into his uniform, making him smile softly.  He ran his fingers through Tanjiro's hair.  This wasn't a dream.  This was real.  And Kanjoro was really here.  And in the flesh.

Shinozuka had ran over to Inosuke, trying to help him up too.  His eyes widened in horror, seeing how much injuries he had on him.  "Inosuke... how long have you been fighting him for?"  Shinozuka had muttered under his breath.  Inosuke had taken notice of Shinozuka's presence, and he had hugged him tightly.  Shinozuka certainly didn't expect the tight hug.  But he hugged back.  "Zuka... it's you.  It's really you..."  Inosuke had muttered.  Shinozuka's eyes softened, seeing his reaction to him being here."

Inosuke... I-"

"Where were you when I needed you...?!"

"I'm so sorry, Inosuke... I'm here now.  I promise.  All three of us are."  Shinozuka had said in a soft tone of voice.  He still felt tense, knowing that Kibutsuji was still there though.  What was he waiting for?  Shouldn't he strike by now?

Meanwhile, Taeko was trying to keep Zenitsu awake, despite his injuries.  "Come on, Zenitsu... don't die on us yet!  Don't die on me... not now!"  She had muttered, her slowly tearing up.  Zenitsu had blinked his eyes open, despite the severe injuries he had.  He made eye contact with the brunette female, although his vision was fuzzy.  Once his vision had cleared out, he had taken full notice of the female.

"T-Tae...?"  Taeko had sighed in relief, seeing that he was up.  "Thank goodness..."  She had mumbled.  Zenitsu's eyes now widened in shock.  Suddenly, he had started tearing up.  "I... I thought you-" He had begun, but Taeko had interrupted him.  "We'll talk about that later.  There's something we need to finish."  She had stated, her voice being low and stern now instead of her usual caring, and kind voice.

"Is your reunion over yet?  Seriously, I was starting to get bored."  Muzan had stated, crossing his arms.  "You...!"  Kanjoro had begun, and immediately turned around, drawing his sword.  Taeko and Shinozuka had also taken notice of this and drew their swords as well.  "About time.  I was wanting to get this battle over with.  We both know who's going to win in the end."  The demon had stated, a cold expression coming on his face.

Kanjoro had glanced at the other two, the same looks he had.  Seeing that, his face turned into a frown.  He really appreciated them coming along with them.  However, did he really want them getting themselves killed?  He didn't want his friends to die.  He then took a deep breath and spoke up.

"Shinozuka.  Taeko.  Lower your weapons.  I'll take on Muzan myself."  Hearing that, made Shinozuka and Taeko stop to look at Kanjoro.  "W-What?  Kanjoro, no!"  Shinozuka had protested.  Taeko had shaken her head as well.  "Kanjoro, we came here with you to help!  We're not backing out now!"  She had exclaimed.  Kanjoro then shook his head once more.  "But I can't let you both get killed!  I can't lose either of you!  I can't lose Tanjiro, or the other two either!"

"But-"  Taeko had begun.

"Please... let me take on Muzan myself.  Besides, I think you both almost forgot one thing."  Kanjoro had stated.

"Huh?"  Shinozuka had begun.

Kanjoro had winked at the two, before turning away.

"I'm a demon too."
