Gareth turned to Sebastian his hands still not leaving my waist- if anything holding me closer. As if he could sense there was a negative energy between us.
"Yes ?" Said Gareth. The tone in his voice was unnatural as he was always so chirpy. It didn't suit him.

"I need to speak with Kitty please."
Sebastian spoke through gritted teeth, his eyes neither meeting mine nor Gareth's face. He seemed almost in pain.

Gareth laughed.

"Oh you need to do you?" Gareth asked. We both faced Sebastian now. My breasts pressed tightly against Gareth's stomach as he towered over me and was maybe even an inch taller than Sebastian. He held me tight as I looked up at Sebastian and he finally looked down at me, ignoring Gareth's attempt at intimidation all together.

"Let go of her please I'd like to speak to her." He said, his tone darkening further, still not looking at Gareth only staring into my eyes unblinking.
When neither me nor Gareth said anything Sebastian only said two words.
"Kitty, p- ple- I need to speak with you." His voice had softened enough for only me to hear, and in his eyes I could see a reflection of the boy I knew last year. The boy I snuck around with in the dead of night and had practiced curses in the undercroft with.

"Gareth it's fine, I'll catch you up. Thanks for the chat."

He smirked releasing me and placing a soft kiss on my forehead. I heard Sebastian shuffle behind me.
"Sounds good. Don't call me sweet again though please. If you need me I'll be over there." He said pointing at the bar.

I nodded and watched him walk away suddenly feeling incredibly exposed and in all honestly a little frightened about the conversation I was about to have.
Sebastian looked me up and down quickly. I couldn't tell from his expression if he was impressed or disgusted with my outfit choice.
He leaned into my ear, I could smell the leathery smoky potion seeping from his skin.

"Can we slip away for a moment?" He breathed.

My heart raced. I wasn't sure if I wanted to be alone with him or not. I hadn't seen Ruby in ages what if she was worried. Where was Luka? On the other hand this is what I'd fantasised about all summer and here it was on a plate in front of me. Alone with Sebastian Sallow.

"Yes."

He brushed his hand along the top of my back before dropping his hand quickly, as though the touch of my bare skin had offended him. Instead he walked ahead of me , coking his head as indication to follow. He marched toward the exit of the tower and in unison we cast our spells becoming camouflaged as he steered me out of the common room and up the stone steps toward the Astronomy Tower. It was just like I wanted, sneaking around with the boy who had done everything with me last year. We had even trusted each other enough to practice unforgivable curses on one another.

How had it come to this?

Once at the top of the tower we reappeared. Sebastian's hair was slightly more dishevelled than the style he'd had it in at the start of the party. The buttons on his shirt were now almost unbuttoned to his breast bone. I felt my chest rise and fall noticeably now I had my skin exposed. We stood as far apart from each other as possible while still being able to speak and I had kept my wand in my hand.
Sebastian glanced down at my wand and he smirked.
"You won't need that."

"Won't I? I'm not really sure." I retorted.

He rolled his eyes looking over the landscape.

"What can I help you with?" I asked.

"You can help me by telling me what you meant when you said Ominis had sent you a letter." Sebastian growled toward the highlands , not meeting my eyes.
