10| He is interested in man!

Shravan's POV

"Why are you still single?" Asked uncle Prem.

"That's because he is interested in man and no man is interested in him," said Arya and started laughing like a maniac.

This prick!

I will kill her!

"The oldest among us is Adi," I said "he is the most eligible bachelor and in high demand too. Why don't you ask him to get married" I shrugged.

"Shravan" my mother scolded me "Is this the way you talk to your elders?" She asked and I rolled my eyes.

"By the way he is saying right" Atharva Singhania said turning his attention to Aditya "You should marry now"

If he is thinking that by taking my side he can come in my good books then he is wrong.

"I have shown him the photographs of many eligible girls but he denies all of them" Anupriya Aunty pouted.

"That means he must be having someone in his heart. Am l right munchkin?" asked my mother.

Although Adi has grown up into a man yet my mother still calls him munchkin.

His cheeks turned crimson red listening to my mother's question but I was glad that the focus has been shifted from me.

"Pari, do you remember what I used to say as a child?" He asked my mother and suddenly got the full attention of everyone even the servants who were serving us the food.

"What?" Mumma's eyebrows squinted in confusion.

"That I will marry you once I grow up," he said with a mischievous grin on his lips "But now when you have all grown up you don't even spare a single look at me" he pouted "You have broke my heart, part" his lower lip quivered up.

"Adi, you know she is mine"

Her husband wrapped his arms around her shoulder possessively and Aditya narrowed his eyes at him. I have grown up seeing both of them fighting without any particular reason and still, they can't take any business decision without consulting each other. Sometimes I don't get their relationship.

"That's what has always kept me away" he further narrowed his eyes at him "Athu!"

Prem uncle chuckled lightly and father gave him a deathly look. Before the things could heat up my mother intervened.

"Let's have dinner before it gets cold!"

I don't know whether I would ever be able to find a girl with whom I am interested.

Advika's POV

"How was your first-day beta?" My mom asked me while I placed the bag on the couch.

"It was fine Mom" I sat on the couch

"Then why are you sounding so low?" She asked sitting beside me.

"It is just that I am tired, Mom" Plus I am sad that none other than that Akdu (rude) is my boss. I have to face him daily. I don't have any other option.

"Ok" she caressed my head "Take rest after having dinner" I nodded and she went on to cook the food.

I don't know why but my heart is sinking right now. This may be because I don't want to work with that jerk. But my parents have a lot of hope for me which I can't break just because of him. I have to work hard and change my department as soon as possible.
