Shravan's POV
I started running immediately as soon as I got the call from Advika. I needed to reach there before anything happened.
As I came out and was about to take up the key to my car, my father appeared from nowhere.
"Where are going in such a hurry?" he inquired, his tone laced with curiosity.
"That's not something you need to worry about," I replied, my tone curt and determined.
I was not in the mood to engage in any argument with him because someone's life was at a stack.
"Shravan, remember that I am your father. It's time we had a conversation and now It's enough of me bearing your tantrums. I think this is the best time to talk because your mother is sleeping" he said.
"I don't have time to listen to you. If you wanted you would have talked to me in the past. Now I am no longer interested" I said as I picked up the key ignoring him.
"Shravan!" He stopped me.
"Leave my way, Father, it's urgent. I need to save someone's life, perhaps it will balance out the sins committed by fathers who take the lives of their own loved ones," the words escaped my lips, laced with bitterness and venom. I hadn't intended to express my thoughts so vehemently, but I couldn't hold back the surge of anger and resentment that had been building up.
He seemed taken aback by my harsh words, a look of shock crossing his face. It was clear he didn't appreciate the way I had spoken to him, but at that moment, I cared little for his feelings. He deserved to feel the weight of his actions, to understand the pain he had caused.
When he neither moved nor said anything to me I walked passed him and reached my car. Sitting inside I roar the engine to its fullest and the wheel starts rolling on the road. The weather was bad which made it difficult for me to drive properly but the thought of saving that lady's life pushed me forward.

Aadvika's POV
"Mom, please, stay strong. Shravan will be here soon" I said as I wiped the blood from the corner of her lips once again.
My mother's health was deteriorating with every tick of the clock. My heart raced, anxiety clawing at me, and my gaze repeatedly darted to the entrance, desperate for the sight of Shravan's arrival.
"Didi, I don't think he would come," Garvit said "he didn't look like a good man to me in my first meeting"
"He will!" I assured him.
I also had the same feeling for him but he has broken the belief that the first impression is the last impression because he is completely opposite of what I thought about him in my first meeting. I am sure he will and if he failed me now, it would be a shattering blow to my already wavering belief in humanity.
Suddenly my thoughts were cut short as the doorbell rang. Garvit and me shared a look before I run to the door to open it and I found Shravan standing there. He was slightly drenched with the rain.
"Where is your mother?" His voice held a tone of urgency, and without a word, I stepped aside, allowing him to enter.
"Garvit, give me the way," he asked.
Garvit nodded and took a step back. My mother's cries had gradually subsided into painful whimpers, her grip on consciousness slipping and I am sure she doesn't even know who has come to her rescue.
"May I help you?" I asked Shravan when I saw him struggling to pick up his mother.
"No, it's fine, just keep the door wide open" he ordered me "Garvit go and open the back door of the car"
