Aadvika's POV

Shocked is a small word to say for what I felt when Shravan said all that to me.

How easy it was for him to say it. He didn't even think once about me.

I thought that he was a good man but he turned out to be a devil.

For him, it may be a marriage of convenience of six months but for me, it is about my whole damn life.

"Didi, where are you lost?" The words of Garvit brought me back to reality.

"Yeah! I am here" I told him.

We have brought our mother back home and Shravan has given me leave for a week so that I could look after my mother and also have enough time to make a decision. I am glad he did that because after what he has done I don't want to even see his face.

I would have been grateful to him for my whole life if he hadn't made that offer after the help, showing me his real face.

"I want maps and chart papers," he said.

I nodded.

"Stay here with Mom and work on your other assignments, I will bring them for you," I told him.

The operation of mother has disturbed his studies a lot. He has a very limited time to submit his assignments.

Giving one glance to my sleeping mother I took my pouch and keys of scooty. But as soon as I stepped out I met with a surprise. Shravan was coming out of his car.

What is he doing here?

"Won't you wish your boss?" He asked as he came to me and saw the look of surprise on my face.

"I am on leave today" I crossed my arms to my chest.

"Fine!" He huffed "That time is up and now I am here to know your decision," he said "Shall we?"

He was asking me to let him inside the home.

"Sorry, I will not let you inside. I don't want my brother to come to know about this" I said in a cold tone.

"OK, fine! I don't want to come inside your home as well" he shrugged "I just want to know your final decision"

"Have you left me with any other option?" I asked.

"No" he chuckled.

My eyes were burning with tears and I was sure that if I kept on looking at him then I would start crying so I just moved my gaze away.

"Stop pretending like I am forcing you into this!" He said "I have already helped your mother and if you want I will give you enough money to live your life without any problems after we divorce"

"Not everything is money, Mr. Singhania," I said gulping down hard.

"Really?" One of his eyebrows cocked "Don't forget that today if your mother is alive then it is only because of the money."

His words sting my heart.

"It would be better if you don't give me lectures over it"

I decided to keep my mouth shut instead of being involved in any further argument. I gave up my life until now for my family and it seems like I have to give up the rest of my life as well.

"I will share the news with my parents and also tell your mother so that we can start with the formalities as soon as possible," he said.

"I have one condition," I said.

"What?"

"You may tell your parents but first I want my mother to fully recover which would take at least one month. So we will not have the wedding before that" I told him clearly.
