Within the next week, the wedded pair were very busy planning their leave of the town that bought them many misfortunes. Keeping close to her inner circle, Maggie didn't venture far mainly staying at home and travelling with Claire to the markets for supplies for this journey to Scotland.
"How are you Maggie" , Claire asked sweetly on their last market journey before their travels.
"I'm excited to be going home. Fergus and I haven't had a chance to settle into a place of our own yet. Hopefully, now that we are married we can start a family." Maggie replied with a hopeful smile on her face.
Claire smiled in return, "I hope you get the chance. You both deserve it."
"Fergus says that's all he's ever wanted. That he will be complete when we have a child. A home." Maggie said. "It's what I want too."
"I certainly know Jamie and I will be grateful for grandchildren in the future. Once you're settled into your own home, you can start a family of your own. It is definitely a different experience, but the best one too." Claire wisely noted. "Come on, I think the boys have been without us for long enough, hopefully they haven't gotten themselves into any dramas."
Maggie laughed in return before the ladies turned down a busy street that led back to their lodgings.

"Ma Cheré, are you ready?" Fergus asked his wife. Looking at the woman who stood in the middle of her room, just staring out the window.
"Yes, I cannot wait to be home, finally." Maggie replied with a smile, sparing a glance to her husband.
Fergus noticed her smile and his eyes shine brightly at the feature that had been missing as of late, happy to see it returned. Walking over to her, he laced his hands around her waist before pressing a kiss to the back of her head, slowly moving the two bodies together, swaying back and forth.
Maggie intertwined their fingers, smiling and laughing slowly and his antics before trying around and pressing a slow and long kiss to his lips.
" I love you, Fergus Fraser. To my last breath." Maggie said softly.
"I will always fight for us, Maggie. You are my angel, the light of my life." Fergus replied in the same tone, his accent more prominent as he whispered, "I love you until the day I die."
Pressing another kiss to her lips, Fergus said in a normal tone, "If we wait any longer, Milord will come looking for us. We need to make for the harbour." Guiding Maggie out the door, holding the final bag of their belongings.
