After leaving the house, the begin to hear the sounds of a drumbeat. they all decide to follow the sound of drums, the four of them stumble upon a type of ceremonial dance. After looking for a moment in awe at the scene before them, they're spotted and dragged out from behind the trees.
Unbeknownst to them all, Mr Willoughby intercedes on their behalf. As it turns out, a lady Claire and Jamie knew, Margaret, had been invited to the ceremony because of her seer abilities, and Mr Willoughby had accompanied her.
After claiming that Mr Willoughby knew the uninvited guests, those who were holding the four let go, Jamie and Claire thanking him and asking why he was with the woman.
"She is the first woman to truly see me, and I see her," Willoughby tells Claire and Jamie. "We wish to be together."
Margaret begins to read Claire and Jamie, and for a brief moment, it seems she is channelling Bree. She calls them "father" and "mama" and speaks of the monster after her.
Margaret, then she says a strange word: Abandawe.
Another gentleman suddenly appeared, telling Margaret off and tells her that they need to get back to their benefactor Mistress Abernathy, and he also said something about a 200-year-old baby, something that gains attention from Claire. Realization dawns on Claire,
"Geillis is going to kill Bree," she tells her husband, frightfully.
Claire, Jamie, Fergus and Maggie all run in the direction of Abandawe, and they soon come upon a cave where they find Geillis, unbeknownst to Fergus who had no idea who she was. Geillis was preparing some sort of ritual that involved a picture Maggie and Fergus had no idea about, or who it was of.
Seeing Ian at the end of the cave, Maggie and Fergus try and edge their way closer to him, whilst Claire and Jamie talk to Geillis. Claire tries to reason with her, but Geillis won't listen.
Claire realizes that instead of stones, this time-travel portal is a pool of water, and she must prevent Geillis from diving in at all costs.
As the situation reached its climax, Maggie grabbed Ian as Geillis shouted,
"This is God's will," Geillis screams, and she launches herself towards the shimmering surface of the pool.
Claire, with Jamie's knife in hand, thrusts wildly, finally connecting with Geillis' throat, killing her.
As the three youngest are exiting the cave, Claire feels the pull of the portal, but at Jamie's touch, the spell upon her seems to dissipate. They then join the three of their 'children' and head back to town.

Once Maggie and Fergus were back in their own room at the inn, they immediately fell into each other's arms, hugging each other.
"Well, that was eventful," Maggie says giggling.
"You could have gotten hurt, Maggie," Fergus said, looking into her eyes thoughtfully and sincerely.
"So could you," Maggie replied. "But, knowing that, I've had a change of heart."
"What do you mean?" Fergus asks.
"I want to have children with you sooner rather than later," Maggie confessed, "After almost losing Ian or anyone else tonight, it made me realise how precious life is, how short."
"If this is something you truly want, then I will be more than happy to accommodate you in the endeavours," Fergus says cheekily.
With a smile, Maggie kissed her husband, "Well, you better be quick about it, my husband is due to be home anytime."
They both shared a laugh as they fell into the bed and started the intimate act.
*************
Once they Fergus had woken in the morning, he discovered that his beautiful wife was missing from the bed they shared, and sat up immediately, eyes darting the room in search for her. When he saw her silhouette looking out to the street and busting life outside, he got out of the bed and made his way over to her, wrapping his arms around her, Maggie immediately melting into him.
"Morning, my love" Maggie said.
With a kiss on her head, he responded "Morning."
"What are you doing today?" Maggie asked.
"Seeing what Milord will want to do. With the storms around, it will be a while before we set sail again." Fergus said.
"Mhmmm," Maggie sighed, "I think I will go around town today with Claire."
"Be back before dinner, I want to cook something nice for you," Fergus said.
"What for?" Maggie asked.
"Do I have to have a reason to be nice to my wife?" Fergus responded with a smile.
Smiling back at him, Maggie kissed his lips before getting changed for the day out with Claire. Once she walked out of the room at the inn, Maggie went to Claire and Jamie's room and knocked on the door and Claire opened and walked out into the hallway.
"Good Morning, Maggie," Claire said. "I'm sorry to disappoint you, but I am not feeling too well today, and Jamie wants me to stay in bed." Rolling her eyes at Jamie's overprotectiveness.
"Oh, that's no worry. I'll pick you up some tonic for the sickness. Get better, Claire." Maggie says, kissing her cheek before walking away and out onto the street outside of the inn.
************
After walking around town all day, Maggie had gotten the tonics she promised Claire and had also purchased some new dresses for herself.
As she continued to walk down an alley, she noticed that she was not alone. Stalking behind her a few metres was a shadow.
Knowing what preys on men's minds late in dark alleys, Maggie quickens her pace in able to get back to Fergus quicker. Looking behind her, Maggie did not notice the other two men walking towards her. The two men grabbed her arms and waist to restrain her. Immediately screaming at the touch, Maggie feared for the worst. The first man put one hand over her mouth to mask her screams and the other hand went to his trousers, letting them drop to the ground. As Maggie laid on the crates she was trapped on, she did all she could to fight the three men off, but there was nothing she could do. The three men had their way with her and to silence her even more, the slapped and kicked the defenceless girl. After the relentless beatings, the three men just walked away, leaving the girl to lay in despair at what had just happened.
