As two individuals walked down a well-lit hallway in the L.G.D. headquarters, their footsteps echoed loudly, overpowering the sounds of anyone else around them. The strong pressure they exerted made their presence impossible to ignore. As soon as the officers came in contact with the two individuals, they promptly halted and paid their respects before proceeding on their path.
"It's nice working with you again, Ms. Schwire."
"The pleasures all mine, Ms. Cohen," Swire responded, "We're sorry to trouble you again."
"It's not a problem," Ash replied, "Rainbow is dedicated to protecting the innocent after all."
Swire smiled at the Operator beside her, "I heard Maestro is the one leading this Operation. Must be nice for him to be back in Lungmen after two years."
"Operation: Below Ground," Ash chuckled, "I remember it quite fondly."
"Say, Ms. Cohen,"
Ash glanced at the Feline, silently signalling for her to ask her question. Meanwhile, Swire studied a clipboard containing details of the Operation and the Operators who were to be deployed.
"The last time Maestro was here, he was with Operators Azami, Clash, Lion, and Thatcher, all of them I greatly commend and are amazing Operators. Can I trust this group to give me a similar result?"
Ash looked back ahead, "I promise you they'll blow your expectations out of the water."
"Hah, can't wait to see that,"
After a short while, they approached a massive set of double doors made of metal. Swire retrieved a keycard from her pocket and scanned it on the terminal located on the right. The doors swiftly vanished, revealing a spacious room filled with individuals seated behind computer screens atop their desks. In the center of the room was a massive display constantly updating with new information. At the moment, the screen exhibited the emblems of the Operators assigned to the mission and a countdown timer until the commencement of the Operation.
