Sharp of Rhodes Island, I had severely underestimated him.

"Is that all you got, Rainbow?" he stared me down.

He was the one who fought Degenbrecher, the Black Knight herself and lived to tell the tale after all. Unlike me who hasn't used a sword in years, I am almost no match. God damn I regret not choosing a gun.

"I'm not done yet, Rhodes Islander," I held my sword up and tilted it towards him, my right hand gripping tightly.

"Good, now come back at me."

Ten minutes had elapsed since I engaged in the relentless duel with Sharp. The intense match had been ongoing for twenty minutes, and half of us had already fallen. Valkyrie was the first to be defeated, followed by Jackal and Nokk. This left only Ms. Schwire, Azami, and me, Maestro, still standing. Fortunately, Stormeye, Pith, and Touch had also been taken out, leveling the playing field. Currently, Ms. Schwire was locked in combat with Ms. Hui-chieh, while Azami faced Blaze. The horror stories about Blaze that Margaret had shared earlier filled my mind, and I couldn't shake the worry that Azami might not survive her daunting encounter.

The room Sharp and I were in was pretty open which gave us a lot of breathing room, but also vulnerabilities. Especially for me.

The gunfire of Azami's shotgun was roaring and loud, it relieves me to hear since I know it meant she hadn't kicked the bucket just yet

The gunfire of Azami's shotgun was roaring and loud, it relieves me to hear since I know it meant she hadn't kicked the bucket just yet. I also heard the clashing of melee weapons elsewhere, making me believe that Ms. Schwire hadn't lost yet either.

"Get ready!" I declared, running towards Sharp and thrusting my sword at him.

He skillfully parried my initial attack and swiftly retaliated with a familiar thrust aimed at my stomach. Reacting quickly, I evaded the strike by stepping aside. Seizing the opportunity, I launched a counterattack aimed at his neck, confident that I had caught him off guard. However, he deftly blocked my strike, displaying an uncanny ease in repositioning his sword. It was as if the blade became an extension of his body, granting him an advantage akin to having a third arm.

"Not bad, kid," He chuckled, "But I'm ending this, now."

As Sharp charged forward, his sword sweeping low with a single hand, his intent was clear: to disrupt my balance and seize the opportunity to strike me down with a fatal blow. I knew I had to stand firm and not let him gain the upper hand.

"What?!" Sharp exclaimed.

His sword swung through thin air and I saw the look on his face completely perplexed,

"I win."

With lightning reflexes, I leaped into the air, narrowly avoiding Sharp's deadly slash. Utilizing the momentum of my jump, I executed a swift dropkick, catching him off guard and striking him squarely in the face. The impact sent him staggering backward, momentarily disoriented by the unexpected attack.
