I decided to surprise him today at night, I will propose him today for sure. I already informed him that I"ll leave early today. He was hesitant to let me go in a cab but I somehow pacified him.

I brought some fairy lights and other decorative items to decorate our room.

" Bindani you are early today ?" Maa asked turning her attention to me from tv.

" Uhh wo Maa...I wasn't feeling well so I thought to come home early " I really felt bad lying to her but I don't have any option. I can't just tell her that
Hey mother-in-law I have to propose your son that's why I came early to surprise him

" Nothing serious maa don't worry... it's just a small headache I'll be fine after a quick nap " I assured her

" Mission proposal starts now !!"

I was about to start decorating our room when my phone rang.
Ahaaa !!! I forgot to call him after reaching home.

" Hello Hukum ? You reached home safely na " he sounded worried...why the hell I am making this mother son duo worried for me ?

" Yeah...I am so sorry I forgot to call you"
I replied sheepishly hoping that he won't be mad.
" It's okay but please take care next time hmm ??" He said softly making my stomach crunch...he really have a huge effect on me !!

" Accha listen...we are invited in a party today. Will you come with me ?? Only if you are comfortable haan ?" He asked sounding unsure about my reaction.

" Of.... Ofcourse I will... what kind of party it is ?" I replied controlling my emotions...why such things happen with me only?

" It's a anniversary party of one of our business partner...we have good relations with them since long so it's kinda important to go there " he still sounds unsure and nervous.
