Chapter 33

Jimin's POV

Chimmy sat on his knees piling noodles into his mouth, only half of them making them in his mouth. The other half falling to his knees as he slurped happily. I looked at Jungkook and smiled as he watched him adoringly. Joonie looked at all the food as if unsure what to get.

"You want a steamed bun Joonie?" I asked.

He nodded and I made him a plate, since I knew mom always made him his plates up. I served him some pork belly on a plate, kimchi fried rice and Jajangmyeon. 

"Thank you." He said as I set it front of him.

"You're welcome Joonie."

I glanced at Jungkook and he ate his pork belly and fried rice quietly, occasionally looking at Chimmy make a mess smiling. I spared Chimmy a look and sighed seeing him slurp up the last of his Jajangmyeon, noting there was black sauce everywhere. He started in on his rice basically putting his head in his bowl.

"Chimmy." I sighed.

Jungkook giggled a bit and I sighed and finally made myself a plate.

"At least I have wooden floors."

"I'm just glad he's eating again. Jin had said he hadn't eaten in a little over a week." He finally said.

I nodded, "Yeah his appetite is back."

"It's because you two are back together. Umm...do you feel better?" He asked cautiously. 

"Mmm" I hummed nodding. "A little better since hearing how you felt on Tae's phone."

He looked up then, "the recording?"

I nodded watching his face and he frantically searched my face. 

"You gotta believe me Jimin, I would never cheat on you. I told you, I'd never do that. I wish I could take it all back, go back to that day and just -."

I nodded and picked up a dumpling with my chopsticks.

"I know Jungkook. I just wish you would have listened to me when I said it felt like something was going on. I sensed she liked you and you just were oblivious."

"I...I thought she was just helping with Chimmy. She really was a lot of help...I thought she was my friend Jimin." He said, his eyes getting watery. 

"I know Jungkook." I said gently. 

He stirred his pork belly around his plate and Joonie just sat there watching us. I smiled at him and put another steamed bun on his plate since it was all he'd eaten.

"You ok Joonie?"

He nodded and started in on the second bun and Chimmy reached across the table. I grabbed his dirty hand stopping him from infecting the rest of the food.

"What do you want Chimmy?"

"I want that." He said pointing to the pork belly.

I put him some more meat on his plate and another steamed bun and Jungkook smiled softly.

"Jimin." He said gently.

I set Chimmy's plate in front of him as he wiggled happily and started eating again and I looked at him curiously. 

"I...I know it may be a weird request. But...I can't help but be worried about the kids. Can we check on them and make sure at least that they're ok? They're innocent in all this." 

I looked at him and sighed smiling a bit. He really had a heart of gold.

"If I see Rose I'm gonna kick her ass."
