Chapter 3- The dreaded conversation pt.1

Troian POV-
Keegan was just standing there, he looked more shocked then I was. I let
him in and we walked into the main room.

"Hey keegs, so glad you could make it!" Shay exclaimed. Everyone was hugging him and I was just sat on the sofa next to Lucy.
"What's the matter?" She asked. My eyes started to swell up with tears and Lucy told me to wait there.

"Hey Ash, Troi just reminded me that I forgot the food I was meant to bring, we will go and get it now."

"Oh ok be quick!" Lucy grabbed my hand and we went to the car. We drove to her house and grabbed some things out of the fridge and started to prepare it to look like she actually forgot some food.

"Is this about Keegan?" Lucy was the only one who could understand me.
"We used to be so close, but after today it's like we don't know each other, I know it's only been a couple of hours since this morning but we've never been awkward with each other." I felt like I was spilling my heart out to her. I started to wipe the tears away from my eyes

"Are you sure you weren't.... You know... Erm......falling for him."
"No of course not!" I shouted. Lucy put her head down.
"I'm sorry for snapping, we're just friends, nothing more, nothing less." I thanked Lucy for letting me talk to her.

Keegan's POV-
The party was really good and I was enjoying more than I thought. I went into the kitchen and saw Tyler. He was lifting a crate of drinks and looked like he was struggling.

"Do you need some help, Ty?" He dropped the crate and told me to come over.
"So what made you decide to come?" Tyler said.
"I was bored at home, I thought I would come out to socialise a bit more."
"If you say so." He started to laugh.
"What's that meant to mean?" I asked. Everyone was been a bit weird since I got here.
"So you didn't come because of Troian?"
"No, why would I nothing wrong between me and Troian." Actually everything was wrong between me and Troian.
"So you've sorted everything out with her. It was silly anyway, you only went to kiss her, you just thought that you were in character."
"I didn't go to kiss her, she lent in first and then I just followed her lead, but your right, it is silly as soon as she gets back I'm going to talk to her. Thanks Ty."

I patted him on the back and went to the main room to get a drink. I realised that I had left my phone in the kitchen, so I went to try and find it, it could be anywhere.

Troian's POV-
Me and Lucy got the food out of the car and knocked on the door. We had made cheese and pineapple, fruit kebabs and we brought a bag of nachos. Ian come to the door and took the nachos off Lucy.

"Woah, this food looks amazing girls!" Ian said happily. I went to Ashley to ask where her nearest mirror was. I didn't want to go upstairs just to do my makeup so I was hoping there was one downstairs.

"Benzo!" I said as I hugged her. We hadn't really talked all night and it was nice to talk to her without shooting a scene.
"Bells, what do you need?"
"Do you have a mirror downstairs? I need to redo my makeup and I don't want to go upstairs and intrude your bedroom." We both started to laugh.
"Don't be stupid! You would be welcome to use my bedroom mirror anytime. There is one in the kitchen."
"Thanks Ash."
She handed me a drink and I walked into the kitchen. Her kitchen was separated into 2 rooms, 1 for food and 1 for eating in.
I got to the mirror near the table and started to get out my mascara.
"I think it's time we talked." I turned around to see Keegan standing in the doorway of the next room.

"Let's got upstairs somewhere more quieter." We both went upstairs into the spare room.
