JONATHAN
"Where's Katara?" Jonathan breathed when they were in the small cabin that Jarrod had lead everyone to. He looked around and saw that everyone was there, except Katara, Samuel, and Max. they weren't anywhere to be found. Kyle looked up suddenly and looked around. He stood and walked toward the door. He stepped out and looked for them. He came back in a second later, looking like he'd just seen a ghost.
"T-they were right there." he breathed and looked at Jonathan. "She was right there. Sam... Sam-"
"You lost them." growled Jarrod as Cordel ran outside. "What-"
"Jarrod, we were all running-" Caleb looked calm as he spoke, but Jonathan knew that he was freaking out on the inside. Caleb loved her, he had for ten years, and now she was missing. They had probably gotten her and killed the others. Who knew?
"My son is out there!" Jarrod yelled. "He's probably dead, because of her-"
"Your son chose to help her." Kyle countered. "He stuck with her. I should have been back there, but I thought that they were with us. My brother and sister are back there. Jarrod, they are all I have. Max is all you've got... that means that there is every reason to get them back."
"How?" Dell questioned as he came back in. "They are the strongest organization. One that we all used to be a part of. How are we going to get them back? What did they want with my... our sister? What do they want with her?" everyone was quiet. No one knew.
"We'll get them back." Kyle whispered. "Or I will die trying. I did everything to protect her and I let her down. I will get her back, because I can't do it without her again. Not this time."
