SAM

Sam watched as Max started to shake. She was gone. She was gone and he was crying. Sam breathed shakily and backed up, until his back hit the wall and he just slid down it. His sister was gone. The only person that he really trusted, was gone and he couldn't help her.

"Baby?" he breathed and lowered his head to his hands. "I'm so sorry Baby." he started to cry. That was all he could do. He didn't know what else to do. It hurt that bad. It was worse than getting shot. It was worse than loosing his parents. It was worse than anything he had ever felt. It hurt and all he could think to do, was to cry.

"K-Katara?" Jessie and Nick stood next to him. "She's gone?" Jessie whispered and fell to his knees. "How could she be gone? She was doing so good? She was fine..." he started choking up. "S-she was fine."

"I'm sorry Katara." whispered Jordan. It was too late for sorrys, but it didn't stop them all from wanting to say them. They had all lost her.

"Don't touch her." Sam looked up at Max as he started to lift her up. "Don't you dare touch her. This is your fault Josh. This... these injections... that's what killed her." he backed away from Josh. "Don't you ever touch her again." Max looked at Sam and slowly, he stood. They were leaving, and Sam agreed. It was time to go. He looked at Josh as he passed and then he followed Max as he carried Katara out.

Sam looked back at Jessie and Nick and Jordan. He wanted to see if they were coming. Jessie stood up and started walking and Nick followed his brother. There would be no separating those two. They were really brothers to the end.

"Don't you dare leave-"

"We don't work for you Josh." Jessie said. "We never worked for you in the first place. We wanted to find our sister and protect her and that was all. She's dead, so we don't belong here anymore, but I am following them, because her family, is my family." Nick didn't say anything, just followed his brother out after Max. Sam looked at Jordan again. He sighed and started walking toward Sam.

"You really do work for me." Josh said and grabbed his arm.

"I don't work for you either." he said. "I work for someone higher than you, better than you. You just murdered my father and gave me what I needed." he pulled his arm away and walked out without another word. Sam looked at Josh.

"She's gone." he said. "It's over."

"It will never be over." Josh said angrily. "It's happening all over the world, these children that have super human abilities. The ones that live. They are creating armies out of these children. Soon enough, these assassins that we have now, they will be out and these children will be the new face, and you can't stop it."

Sam sighed and looked down. No he probably couldn't stop it, but starting now, he would try to stop it.

He turned and followed the rest of them out. They never looked back, not one time as, they left.
