SAM
Sam watched as his sisters' pain got worse. He watched as she jerked and cried. He heard her screams from the TV that they had put up while she was sleeping. They had watched as they had injected the first toxin into her body. Max had turned away when she started screaming, but Sam couldn't tare his eyes away. This was his sister. They were destroying her.
Sam watched as they got ready to inject the next one, and the clock at the bottom of the screen and it read two hours fifty-nine minutes. The doctor looked at someone off screen and then at exactly three hours, they put it into her.
Katara grew still, and she was quiet. She was breathing hard and her body shook. It was visible from here he was. It was like she was cold, freezing from the inside. She relaxed a little more and Sam could see the sweat on her face, neck, and arms. She shook again.
Slowly, Sam looked down and clenched his jaw. He sighed. Nothing he could do would help her, because when they injected the last one, which was coming up soon, she wouldn't be Katara anymore. She would be someone new, if not dead.
"Sam." Max whispered and he looked at him. "We have to get out of here. We have to get her out before they kill her." he nodded. He knew.
