In prison, John came up with an idea on how to escape through the hole. John looked down the hole and estimated that he was about ten feet in the air. John rested against the back wall and stared at the hole with great thought without blinking. He took one step forward and deeply inhaled. John aggressively ran towards his only exit as he quickly got down and slid through the opening with his feet first. John fell on the concrete harshly hard and got his head injured. He laid on the ground unconscious for a few minutes. Curiosity was in the air, and the police went to see what was going on outside of the prison. The Diamond correctional officer ran to the scene like a football player running for a touchdown and quickly turned off the lights from the outside.

As John was on the ground with blurry vision, the atmosphere started to get eerie. He saw Officer De Medici standing in front of him, "Obey the laws," De Medici said and disappeared. John steadily got up from the ground and stood, "Where did you go?" John asked. John's heartbeat increased, and he ran as fast as he could towards the front gates of the jail.

The Diamond CO was waiting for John at the entrance gate, "Are you okay?" he asked. John was full of torment and did not have the words to explain, "Thank you," he said. The correctional officer gave John his clothes in a bag and opened the gates for him, "Run, they know about this. I handle the rest back there," the officer said.

Surprisingly, all the lights and cameras were back on again inside the jail, "Let's check on Esteban," an officer said. Like a shot, the officers went up to check on John's cell and noticed a big hole at the bottom of the wall, "He's gone!" an officer cried. "I knew he was going to do something like this!" another officer said.

"Who helped him?" an officer asked. All the polices looked at each other.

"Who cut the lights and cameras off?" the officer added.

The Diamond CO came to the scene, "What's going on?" he asked. Like a bat out of hell, the officers left John's cell to find him as soon as possible.

In the meantime, John limped as he ran from jail and later arrived near a road. He realized that Lil Mateo was not there. Suddenly, he saw a man on a bike at the end of the street, "Mateo! Mateo!" John screamed as he waved his hands in joy. Excitingly, Lil Mateo heard his name called and gasped. He noticed John and rode his bike towards him in a hurry, "What the heck happened!" Lil Mateo cried. Lil Mateo was shocked and frightened by his appearance. Mateo took his bag of clothes and put them inside the basket on the back of his bike. Then, Mateo helped John sit between the handlebar grips, "Take me to Lamar's shop," John whispered. Lil Mateo rode his bicycle to Lamar's shop as he paddled his bike until his feet disappeared.

It was six AM when Lil Mateo arrived at the shop. Lil Mateo loudly banged on the doors, "Lamar, Lamar, open up!" he screamed. Lamar opened the doors, but he was half asleep, "What's wrong with you, boy! Why you knocking so loud for? Oh my goodness, John! Get in here quickly, you two!" Lamar said.

"What the heck happened?" Lamar asked.

"John escaped jail, but obstacles were in his way," Lil Mateo said.

"I'ma get your car, and we gonna cure you, John. Can you hear me?" Lamar asked.

Lamar brought out John's red convertible. At the same time, Lil Mateo took John's clothes out of the bag. Laboriously, Lil Mateo helped John put on his long leather brown coat. Then, Lamar and Lil Mateo diligently carried his body into the driver's seat. Lamar and Lil Mateo were looking at him with heavy and droopy eyes.

"You got to be careful out there. Kobras and your rivals know you escaped. You still worth thirty-two million, and they will do anything for that money. The minute you step out, you are everyone's prey," Lamar said.

"You don't have to do this," Lamar added.

John was feeling extremely exhausted and dizzy. His body was weak as he almost fell into a deep sleep for eternity, "I grew up in prison and the streets. I don't want to go back to my hood. I don't want to go back," John mumbled. After John closed his eyes for a few minutes, he later woke up feeling better, "Mateo, bring Incognito, Halcon, and No-Eyes here," John said.

Miles away from the shop, Officer Rico got the news that John had escaped and furiously came to his office to investigate. He went inside his meeting room and laid down a map on the table of the Chamberlain Hotel to show how the unit was going to break in. All the officers, squad commanders, and the SWAT team got armed to capture John, "Listen up! Slide your magazines into your rifles and load up in bullets! Put your vest on! And get ready! First, we are going to the Chamberlain Hotel to see if Death Wish is there!" Officer Rico screamed.

"Y'all ready!" Rico screamed

"Yes, sir!"

Eight SWAT trucks furiously drove out of the building as they headed to Oroland.

In Catalinas, all the gangs were furiously after John.

"Es Mio!" Wolf Bloods screamed. "Es Mio"- His Mine

All of John's enemies were tuned to the news to see how he escaped. They were all shocked and impressed by his runaway. Instantly, all the gangs were in a hurry to be the first to find and capture John.

As expected, Lil Mateo brought back Incognito, No-Eyes, and Halcon into the shop. Halcon brought guns, bullet vests, and ammunition with him, "Dang homie! You changed!" Halcon cried. "It's a long story," John said.

"Listen up! I am going to drive to my mom's house without stopping. The second we are outside, we will have guns aiming at us, not just from polices but from gangs to. I am going to do the driving. You guys protect me but don't hurt anyone. To go into Sosaville, I plan to drive on the east side of Bowie Heights to get there quicker. Lil Mateo, you do what you got to do." John looked at everyone around them, "Y'all ready?" John asked. Incognito, Halcon, and No-Eyes got in the convertible with John while Lil Mateo stayed behind.

"Yes, sir," everyone said. Guns getting loaded and vests getting put on were heard. The guys had shields made out of metal to protect them from being injured and had colorful smoke bombs as well.

"Lamar, thank you for everything. For being a father figure to me when I had none ... thank you. Thank you, Lil Mateo ... thank you all. And thank you, Jesus, for finding me when I was lost," John said.

"You forgot one more thing," Lil Mateo said. Lil Mateo placed the dog tag necklace around John's neck, "Fear not," Mateo said.
