Luigi, now trapped in a cage, is dropped down into a dungeon where other prisoners hang suspended over a pool of lava. He screams, pants, whimpers, and quavering. Gripping the bars, he looks around, "Where am I?"
Instantly, Luigi hears laughter making him gasp and look to his left. In another cage, a blueish-yellow star creature, Lumalee, spins the cage around, "Home." She chirped. Luma's faded yellow disappears and becomes completely blue. The Penguin King sits in yet another cage with two other penguins.
"Pay her no heed. She is cute, but she is..." The Penguin King makes a cuckoo whistle.
"In an insane world, it is the sane who is called crazy." Lumalee pulls out a pinwheel and blows it. The propeller pops off and floats away. Luigi frowns at the star and Penguins, "How long you guys been in here?"
Lumalee begins swinging the cage back and forth, "Time, like hope, is an illusion." Finally, the Penguin King groans, "Please! We are depressed enough!" Luigi glances around the area, "There's gotta be a way outta here." Lumalee chuckles, "There is no escape. The only hope is the sweet relief of death." The other prisoners gasp in shock. The Penguin King grips the bars, "Oh, you've got to be kidding me! Luma, enough!"
Luigi groans and rests his forehead on the bars. Lumalee chuckles, "No hope left. My yellow color, is gone."
Yellow color.
Luigi lifts his head up and looks at the star creature, "What are you, Luma?" Lumalee spins around, "I am known as the Child of the Stars. I lost my friend long ago." Luigi stares at the creature and frowns.

Luigi glances at the Penguin King, "She once was yellow?" The Penguin nods his head, "Yes, and if depressed, the Children of the Stars turn blue. And those who are blue turn black." Luigi nods his head, "I saw a painting at an old castle with a woman and a yellow Child of the Stars. Do you know who the woman is?"
Luma flips in her cage, "'Lina! 'Lina is my friend!" She spoke. The Penguin King looks at Luigi, "The Princess of The Stars. Her name is Rosalina." Luigi looks at Luma in utter disbelief, "Rosalina..." The green-capped brother looks at the King, "What happened to her?"
"She left to search for two brothers. They are destined to save our world." The King answered. Lumalee giggles, "Brooklyn, Brooklyn." Luigi stares at Lumalee in surprise, "Brooklyn? That's where me and my brother are from!"
"You must have met Princess Rosalina in your world. She parted this world five years ago to search for you and your brother." The King spoke. Luigi leans back against his cage, "That's when we met Rosy." He whispered. The painting of the Princess. Meeting Rosy.
Luigi snaps his head up to Lumalee, "She came with us through those pipes before we got separated." Lumalee stopped spinning in her cage, and the Penguins stared at him in shock. Luma slowly turns around to Luigi, "'Lina is here?"
Luigi blinked at the creature. Rosy... 'Lina... Ros-a-lina... Why did she hide her identity?
