Mario fell to the ground, but before he could accept the deadly fate, the flames were instantly blocked. Gazing up, Mario's eyes widened to see Luigi holding a sewer lid, pushing the fire back. "Lu..." Mario mutters.
Luigi looks at his brother, "Nothing can hurt us as long as we're together." Mario nods his head and offers his hand to the younger. Luigi grabbed Mario's hand, and the two sprinted to the Star. The lid falls, and Bowser's flames reach them. Rosalina shouts as smoke surrounds the star and the boys, "No!"
Bowser laughs, believing that he has killed Mario and Luigi. "Stars come, but they also go. The men's destiny is now coming to a close..." Rosy gasps at the sound of the Super Star. They touched it.
In the Super Star:
Mario and Luigi open their eyes to see a bright blue castle before them. The gates of the castle open, and a woman in a blue dress and long blonde hair walks through; in her hand is a star-shaped wand. A yellow star floats beside her, moving back and forth.
"Rosy?" Mario whispers. Luigi blinks at her, his mouth opening and closing. Taking a second look at the castle, the green-capped brother realizes that it is the same castle that was abandoned and ruined.But is clean and beautiful.

"Hello, Mario and Luigi," The woman greeted, "Welcome to the Star Kingdom." Mario stepped up to Rosy in confusion, "Rosy, what's going on?" Luigi swallowed and tilted his head, "Are we dead?"
"Haha! No, gentlemen, you are alive and well." Rosy chuckles, "You are in the Super Star." Mario and Luigi glanced at each other in confusion. Knowing the questions running through their minds, Rosy gestured them to follow her. The two brothers followed her into the library, where more Lumas waited. Mario walks up to Rosy, "Um... Rosy? What exactly is going on?"
"Mama's name is Rosalina!" An orange Luma pipes up next to the red-capped plumber, startling him. "Hush, Child." Rosalina frowns at the star. Luigi adjusts his cap and looks around the room, "So..."
Rosalina turns to the two and lowers her wand to her side, "Luigi," She glances at the tall man, "When you first entered the Warp Pipe, you saw this castle, did you not?"
"Y-yes."
Rosalina nods, "As you were supposed to."
Mario shakes his head, "Hold on a moment! Rosy, what does this have to do with being in the Super Star? Bowser is probably attacking Brooklyn as we speak!"
"He is not attacking."
"How do you know!?"
"Because Mario. What seems like a minute to you in the Star is barely a second in Brooklyn." Rosy steps closer to him, "The Super Star is healing you both, and once you stop Bowser, the power with leave you and return to me."
