~The Same Day~

“Andrea Marie Stark!” Andi's father yelled as she walked into the living room of Stark Mansion. “Why did the school call me saying that you didn’t show up today?”

Andi threw her backpack onto the couch. “No idea. I was totally there” She shrugged, heading into the kitchen.

Tony crossed his arms, looking at her sternly. “Andrea Marie!”

“It’s Andi!” She yelled back, rolling her eyes. “Andrea makes me sound like a girly girl” She made a gagging face.

“I don’t care, that’s what I named you so that’s what I’m going to call you. If you keep skipping school then I’m going to have to send you to boarding school. This behavior of yours is un-” He paused when he noticed the septum piercing in her nose. “What the fuck did you do to your face?!”

Smiling, Andi turned her head to the side. “You like it?”

Tony's face reddened with anger. Andi has done many things to piss him off but body modifications are the last straw. “No I do not like it! You are getting that removed!”

“Like hell I am!” She crossed her arms, staring her father down.

“Like hell you’re not! You are sixteen years old, you shouldn’t be getting piercings without my permission, it’s illegal!”

Andi shrugged, taking a sip of her redbull. “That’s not what my fake ID says” She said referring to what he said about her age. “And since when do you care about legalities?”

Tony crossed his arms again. “Fake ID?! Where did you get a fake ID?!”

“Zio Clint…” She said, trying not to smirk. Zio was the Italian word for Uncle and when Clint found that out when Andi was a baby, he demanded to be called that cause he said it sounded cool. “And technically Zia Nat” She shrugged.

“Remind me to never allow you around them ever again” Tony said, rubbing the bridge of his nose. “After school tomorrow you’re going to get that ring taken out of your nose and then you’re grounded for two weeks. Now give me that ID”

Rolling her eyes, Andi reluctantly handed over the fake ID. “I’m going to my room” Andi said, grabbing another redbull, some snacks and her backpack and then headed to her room.

When she got to her room, she threw her bag onto a chair angrily. Andi hated her father, he would never let her be herself.

For her entire life, her father was either at work or off on some mission with the rest of the Avengers, he was rarely ever at home. Andi was always put in the care of her best friend Peter’s Aunt May, she was more of a parent to her than Tony ever was.

Andi just wanted to be herself, she didn’t want to be the person that her father wanted her to be. He wanted her to be perfect and keep up the Stark image, though every time he said that Andi would respond with 'You mean that this whole family is a bunch of egotistical dicks?!'

But Andi wasn't the perfect little princess her father wanted her to be. Andi was a rebel, she wore leather, skipped school and went to parties. Her father hated that, but what he hated the most was that he could see that his daughter was becoming what he used to be, and that was the one thing he didn't want to happen.

Andi set her Red Bull on the nightstand and threw herself backwards onto her bed. If her father could just let her be herself, they wouldn't have such a strained relationship. Well that and if he was actually home more often.

Her phone went off and Andi groaned as she got up to grab it out of her bag. Lit up on the screen was a text from Peter that consisted of only one word:

'Arcade?'

Smirking, Andi texted him back saying she'd meet him there. She and Peter met in Kindergarten, he was the only kid that wanted to play with her and the two of them ended up becoming fast friends. Peter brought out the soft side in Andi, while their friend Harley brought out the rebel side. Even though she and Peter developed two entirely different personalities growing up, they were still as close as they were when they were four. Andi was the first person Peter shared his secret about being Spider-Man with, and she was even the one that helped him come up with his superhero name. Peter was actually the first one that gave her the nickname Andi, though after everybody else started using it, he came up with another one that only he could call her.

After grabbing her bag and jacket, Andi left her room and headed to the arcade, where Peter was waiting with two iced coffees.

"You know me so well" She said, taking the coffee that he was holding out to her.

He playfully rolled his eyes and opened the door to the arcade for her. "I'd hope so, I've known you for twelve years" He glanced at her nose piercing and raised an eyebrow. "So you really went through with it?"

Andi nodded, taking a sip of her coffee. "Yep. I said I was going to, didn't I?"

"Well yeah but I thought that maybe you'd change your mind. How did your dad react to it?"

"Oh he flipped his shit" She laughed. "Classic Tony. He said that tomorrow after school I'm going to get it taken out."

They got to the counter and Peter traded in some cash for quarters, handing half of them to Andi. "Has he met you before? There's no way that he'll be able to convince you to take it out"

Andi laughed again. "You're very right." She nudged him with her elbow, getting his attention. "What do you think about it?"

Peter smiled and nudged her back. "I think it looks great. It's very you, Drea"

"Thanks Pete. Now let's get to playing" She said, playfully shoving him.

They played arcade games for a few hours before Tony texted and told her to come home for dinner.

"Are you coming over for dinner Pete?" Andi asked as they walked back to Stark Mansion.

Nodding, Peter pulled his hood over his head, shielding his face from the October wind. "Yeah, May's working a night shift tonight"

Aunt May was a nurse, so whenever she worked a night shift, Peter would come over to the Mansion and stay the night since May didn't want him to be alone. Although most nights Peter would stay the night at the Mansion, so much so that he had his own room that was decorated and full of anything he would need. Stark Mansion was basically his second home.

"Dad, we're home!" Andi called, shutting the door behind them.

"Who's we?" Tony's voice responded from the living room.

Andi rolled her eyes as they walked in. "Who do you think?"

Tony looked up from the Chinese takeout boxes he was setting out. "Oh hey Pete! How've you been?"

"I've been good Mr. Stark" Peter smiled, sitting on the floor on the other side of the table while Andi sat next to him.

Tony rolled his eyes. "Kid, I've known you since before you were potty trained, you can call me Tony"

"Like little Petey would ever call an adult by their first name" Harley said, walking down the stairs and sprawling out on the couch behind Peter. "He's too much of a goodie-two-shoes"

"It's not my fault my Aunt raised me to be respectful" Peter rolled his eyes.

The four of them watched TV as they ate their food until Tony sent them to bed around midnight.

Andi laid on her bed, staring up at the ceiling. Whenever she couldn't sleep, her mind would race, and most nights, much like this one, her mind focused on only one thought: Her mother. Andi always wondered who her mother was and why she left, but her father would never tell her.

He always said that he didn't want to talk about her, that one day when Andi was older he'd tell her about her mother. But after years of him saying that, Andi gave up on ever learning more about her mother. Andi didn't even know if her mother was still alive or if she even loved her. The one thing Tony would tell Andi every time she asked about her mother was that her mother loved her so much, but Andi didn't believe him.

If she loved her then why would she leave her…?
