Bonus Chapter 1: The Pepperony Wedding

~A/N~ I decided to do some one shot bonus chapters for my fic The Stark Trap, so if you haven't read that then go read it first!

The day was August 27th, 2019, also the day that Tony Stark and Pepper Potts were finally getting married after over a decade of being together and then over a decade of being separated. 

They hadn’t gotten married before the twins were born, because neither of them really saw the point in it. Yes, it would legally connect them together and there were benefits to it, but they didn’t really think that they needed to go through a whole big wedding just to prove their love to each other. 

They still didn’t think that they needed a big party, but Pepper and Tony did like the fact about having a get together with their loved ones, especially their daughters.

They only had twenty people coming to the wedding, only the people they really wanted there, and they were having it outside of the Avengers compound. Tony wasn’t too keen on that idea, but when he saw how everyone decorated it, he decided that it was perfect.

Currently, Pepper was in one of the rooms, getting ready with her bridal party, which consisted of her sister, Vivienne, who was her Maid Of Honor, and her Bridesmaids were Andi, Melissa, May and Natasha.

The bridal party were all completely ready, they were all dressed and had their hair and makeup done, and were all now helping Pepper finish getting ready. 

Andi and Melissa loved that their parents were getting married, especially after all of the effort and anxiety it took to get them back together. 

“You know,” Melissa said, looking over at her sister. “Most kids don’t get to go to their parents wedding”

Andi laughed. “Most kids can’t say that their parents broke up and got back together because they Parent Trapped them”

Melissa nodded. “We’re a couple of Lindsey Lohan’s”

“Or Hayley Mills,” Andi said, shrugging.

“What are you two talking about?” Their mother asked, standing in front of the mirror as Vivienne made sure her dress was on right.

The girls looked over. “Just about how this day wouldn’t be happening if it weren’t for us” Melissa said.

“We really should be the ones being celebrated,” Andi joked.

“We’re the MVP's,” Melissa said in agreement.

Pepper playfully rolled her eyes at her daughters. “I’ll make sure to buy you two a thank you gift,” She joked.

May walked into the room, holding a singular red rose. “You’re Soon-To-Be Hubby asked me to give you this”

Again, Pepper playfully rolled her eyes as she took the rose. “He’s given me a rose every day since we’ve gotten back together. That’s almost a whole year of roses”

Andi and Melissa both laughed. It had been almost a year since their parents had gotten back together and ever since then, their father, without fail, had given their mother a rose every day. That was 245 roses, and they didn’t see it stopping anytime soon. And with every rose, their mother got a little more irritated with him about it, mainly due to the fact that they didn’t have room for all these roses and she had to deal with the dead petals and the mess they made.
