what was angel doing when all of that stuff with Alice was happening?
Angels POV.
Hmmm... Its to squishy... Where am I? I sat up and yawned. I looked around but didn't know where I was. Where was Calcifer? Yuki, Alice? Where did they go. Was I abandoned? My eyes searched the room frantically. They were gone...
"Oh, you up?" Someone said. I dived back under the blanket I had on me. "Naaah, I already saw you, I know you're awake!" They said. I peeked out from under the blanket. Some weird lady was standing above me. "What, do you think I'll eat you?! Haha!! You're so cute! Nahh, but what a pain..... Suddenly having to take care of a random kid just like that... Tsk!"
Would she hurt me? "W-where am I?" I said. My words didn't come out right.
"Where? My house duh." She said.
I didn't understand. "What's a house?" I asked.
"Naaahh..." She put her hand on her forehead. "They said you lost some memories, but that's just common knowledge!"
She seemed mad now... "Oh.... Did I do something wrong?" I asked.
The lady put her hand on her face and sighed. "Let's start over, I'm Jen. Just call me Jen."
"I'm Angel." I said.
"OK, good start. So, um. Why are you here?" She said.
I looked around. "I don't know, I'll have to asked Yuki." My eyes widened. "Where's Yuki, Alice, and Calcifer? Are they coming back? Did they leave? ...... Am I alone again?" I said.
"Naaahh... How should I know?" She retorted.
I sniffled and started to cry softly. They left forever? "Woa! Hey now, I didn't say they were gone! They'll come back!" Jen said quickly.
"I'm not crying..... N-not at all..." I said through my tears. I leaned over and wrapped my arms around jen and buried my face in her chest.
She pushed me off gently. "Ok now! Uh, do you, uh... Do you want to help me go shopping?" She asked. I stopped crying and nodded. Jen looked exhausted. "Don't, don't do that. Ever." She said, and then went to get ready for shopping.
Don't do what? Cry? Hmmm.... I'll try!
*********
"Um, jen? What is 'shopping'?" I asked as I walked beside her on the icey sidewalk. The green lady was nowhere in sight. We must have walked far. I liked this place better. It wasn't as crowded.
"Huh? You don't even know that? What a pain..." She said. "You don't need to know. I'm gonna go to this market place. Just, go play over there and make sure I can see you ok?" She said, pointing to an open space with children. I nodded and ran off.
Kids that looked like Kenny's age were here! Kenny wasn't... "Hello!" I said as I approached them.
Some of them glared at me. ?? "No grown ups!" They said.
"I'm not a grown up." I told them, crouching down to match their height.
"Yes you are! Grown ups are big and know everything! If your not not a grown up, what are you?" A little boy said.
I pondered this. "I don't know.... I don't think I'm a grown up. I don't know many things, so if grown ups know everything I can't be one." I said.
"What do you know?" He asked.
"I know about giraffes!" I said happily.
"Everyone does!" He said.
"Really? I didn't until a few days ago. I also know about, hmmm, shots! Shots hurt really bad!" I told him.
