CHAPTER 10.5:
On His Knees
Zaiden Valle Avelino Special
Some people have the money.
"I'm proud of you 'nak!"
Some people have the influence.
"Gwapo ng anak ko!"
Some people have the fame.
"Avelino! Avelino!"
Some people have the love.
"Go kuya!"
Some people have the talents and looks.
"Congratulations, Zaiden."
"Thank you, sir."
But Zaiden Valle Avelino has it all, he has everything.
Born from a family who owns one of the largest corporations in the country toe-to-toe with Diamante's, Cardoza's, and others. The influence of his family and himself is enough to turn everybody's head, focused on him and what he is capable of, and he was damn good at proving them just that.
Almost a valedictorian, everybody knew who he was. He was a legend. He was good-looking, rich, smart, athletic, and a pretty good friend.
Just as he was a good friend, he was also a pretty good lover.
"How about this? Pwede ba, Zaiden?"
His gaze was lazy, bored, done with his girlfriend or should he say future ex-girlfriend.
"Okay." He smiled and pressed one last kiss on her forehead then paid for the CHANEL wallet at the store.
Everyone either wanted to be him or they want to be fucked by him.
There is not such thing as in between nor both, it was the one or the other.
Most of the girls he fucked were his girlfriends. He was never the player that everyone thought he was. When he had a girlfriend, he made sure that they are loved and spoiled.
His father taught him this mentality.
"Tears in joy lang, walang sadness."
He cared about them, he cared about his exes, but he also cared about his own damn feelings.
"P-Pero—"
"We're done. Tapos na tayo. We can be friends but that's it."
Zaiden had his own beliefs. He believed that love is needed to maintain a relationship, he wanted a love quite similar to his parents, he wanted a love just like that.
If there is no love, it is only an empty glass without water, it was only a shell without any flesh inside, it was nothing.
"Zaiden! Sandali lang!"
Was there even love to begin with? Or was it only interest? Pure curiosity? Now answered and filled, he was done, over it, he's bored.
God, he didn't know.
He had no idea.
"Nak naman, gwapo gwapo mo!"
But one thing he knew was how much he loved his family.
