Chapter 5: So Who Goes With Who?

    Everyone was shouting. Pix was trying to get control of the chaos, both of the FWhips were trying to ask questions over the din, Gem was waving her arms around and yelling something about reincarnations, and Oli was just screaming.

    Scott was quite amazed at the mess his past self (?) had managed to cause.

    Eventually, everything quieted down as everyone got the screaming and panicking out of their systems. Well, except for Oli. Oli was still screaming.

    Joel, who was standing next to Oli, elbowed him, and Oli's yelling went a couple of octaves higher as he almost fell of the raised circle of chairs from the sudden shove. But he did stop screaming, once he regained his balance.

    "Ok, now that everything is back under control, could you please elaborate on your statement, Scott?" Pix asked. The other Scott stepped forward again (he had backed up when the chaos erupted) and began to speak.

    "So, you guys know the Grimland's explosion, right?" Scott of Rivendell began. "Well-"

    "We don't, actually. Could you please explain that?" Scott interrupted. His past self frowned at him, but before he could start talking again, someone else said something.

    "Wait, if you guys are our past selves, does that mean you guys are from the past?" Jimmy asked. FWhip shook his head, and said dryly, "No, Jimmy, they're from the beach. Get it right."

    "Don't blame him for getting confused, FWhip. He is a toy, after all." Joel said. Scott watched as Jimmy's face filled with anger, and he yelled, "I'M NOT A TOY!" Almost everyone in the room immediately chorused, "Yes you are," and Jimmy opened his mouth to say something, but before he could, the other Jimmy asked, with confusion in his voice, "You're a toy?"

    FWhip yelled, "YES HE IS," at the same time Jimmy shouted, "NO I'M NOT," and the fishy Jimmy only looked more confused. It looked like it was about to erupt into another one of FWhip and Jimmy's massive arguments, but before it could, Sausage stepped forward and waved his arms to catch everyone's attention.

    "GUYS!" He yelled, and once everyone was looking at him, he said, "Jimmy is a toy, argument over. Let's talk about why there are copies of us now?" FWhip smiled at Sausage, and Scott watched with growing amusement as Sausage smiled back, apparently completely unaware that his cheeks were a bright red.

    "Simp," Joey muttered, and Scott had to keep himself from bursting out laughing as Sausage blushed harder and stammered indignantly, before falling silent and staring at the ground, evidently unable to find any words to defend himself. Scott also noticed that FWhip was blushing as well, although it was harder to tell on FWhip since he was green.

    Maybe this is a good time to test out my theory, Scott thought, and he winked at Jimmy as he said, "It's ok, Jimmy. I don't care that you're a toy, I like you anyways." Scott was not disappointed; Jimmy's eyes widened slightly, and he turned bright red. Scott had to suppress a snicker at the panicked look on his face.

    Jimmy had mentioned before that he was straight, so the fact that he was blushing at Scott's attention must have absolutely thrown him for a loop, which was exactly what Scott was intending.

    Several people exchanged amused glances at the drama currently happening, before Gem stepped forward and said, "Can we get back on topic? I, for one, would like to know what is going on." 

    Icy Boy Scott nodded, and said, "As I was saying, the Grimlands explosion was something that happened right before we got here. FWhip and Jimmy were messing around, and they somehow made the Grimlands reactor blow up, destroying the Grimlands and the Lost Empire, which was their neighbor. All of the rulers -us- met up outside the crater that used to be the Grimlands, and then we all went to our empires to see what the damage was.
