whenever he cracked a joke and everyone was laughing, he didn't notice her.

her, blushing and laughing, like he is the most entertaining person in the room.

jake was her board, jake was her teacher. she'd only listen to what he was saying and would only watch him from across the room.

she was deadly in love with him that every time someone mentioned his girlfriend, her heart would stop bleeding.

everytime her heart grew drier and only he could rain on it.

every little interaction with him was like a treasure she kept with her. she admired him.

his looks, voice, body, even his different personalities towards different people.

she didn't even notice that she was - once again - staring at him.

"hey, nahyun. are you listening," her classmate pushed her a little. "hm? sorry what happened?"

the seatmate, also known as her closest friend yebin, gave herself a facepalm with a sigh following.

she was annoyed with this behaviour of nahyun. infact she hated it.

nahyun's grades had been falling, her relationships towards her friends kept getting boring and boring.

she wanted her life just to revolve around jake.

"he's like the sun and i am the earth." she always describe her state and everytime yebin tells her: "exactly, because the sun doesn't need the earth but the earth needs the sun. nahyun," she pats her shoulder, "you need to change classes." she warns her, everytime nahyun mentions him.

"you do know he is taken and he won't give up on her that easily," sumin hands them their drinks, leaving this important information.

nahyun lets her head fall on the desk, her eyes still glued on his majestic angelic face.

"one day i will make him aware about my existence," she hits her table when both of her friends sigh in annoyance.

"my everything, my star," jake cups the girls face and leaves a kiss on her lips. he doesn't care about the others looking at them having their moment.

in that moment both only had their eyes on each other and everyone else was irrelevant.

"should we leave," he asks her as he takes her hand. byeol happily smiles before she waves goodbye to his friends, which jake also does.

"i don't blame him," sumin mumbles, her head resting on her palm and the straw being held between her teeth, "she's like everything i need," this time she mumbles a little louder, making her friends look at her.

while yebin tilts her head, making a weird face, nahyun's eyes follow the two on the hallway.

"y'all need to touch some grass and get some hobbies," yebin shakes her head and pulls her sleeves up, "i am getting shivers because of you two. i'm going," she gets up, hits both of their heads, before she leaves the classroom.

einstein was correct, time is relative. and i hear this story at least one time when i am with him.

him and i have been walking together for five months now and i love every second of it.

everytime i see his smile i get reminded of warmth that lets my body feel good.

"and that's how einstein proved that time is relative," he finishes explaining, looking at me full of expressions.

i laugh at his face as it drops, "you didn't listen," he remarks, letting go of my hand he just took.

"no, no i actually didn't," i take his hand again, but jake refuses, sulking. i pout at his reactions and stop in my steps.

i jog to him, as he just kept on walking. this time i force him to hold my hand, "what would we name our first child?" jake stops and his eyes widen, "don't let them fall out," i push him slightly.

he covers his mouth when he looks down to me, "star, are you pregnant," he whispers halfway.

this time my eyes widen, "what? no! i just asked! you're so stupid," i push him again and keep walking, covering my belly.

"no seriously. why else would you ask that," he stops me. "i don't know, it was just a random thought."

he starts giggling, palming his face, "you're too young for this. lets get you a food baby." he takes my hand and walks into the restaurant we just stopped at.

︀︀︀︀︀
"okay stop now, i am so full," i lean back as he smiles, "really? i just wanted to order another round," he mumbles sadly when i sit straight.

seriously i take his hand and make him look at him.

"jae, this was our third round. do you want me to die from drowning in food?" i ask concerned, "hisaeng," he answers.

"what?" i tilt my head, "the names, for our children," my half smile slides into a poker face when i raise one eyebrow, "you want to call our child sacrifice?" jake nods assured and i wait for an explanation.

"at first i thought about shiwang, which means death in chinese," and immediately my jaw drops, "you really wanted to call it death? what are you? the deathman?" he just laughs and shakes his head.

"no you have to listen. you always call me jae, also meaning ashes and your name is star. both of our names have a connection to death, that's why," he takes a sip from his drink.

okay this is smart.

i nod reassured as he opens his mouth to talk again, "we make so many sacrifices for each other. our love could depend on one sacrification and this could be hisaeng," he explains.

"both don't sound that bad," i say when he smiles, "i know i'm good," he proudly smiles as i shake my head and chuckle.

"gosh, you're so cute," i look at him in awe when he smiles back and

he definitely makes my dried out heart bleed again.

"oh my god! jake," we get interrupted by three girls. two of them were taller than the girl on the side, which was clearly blushing, making me raise one brow.

jake's eyebrows raise, "hey girls," he says eyeing me. "oh you're here with her! sorry to disturb, i just saw you and had to say hi. see you tomorrow," she waves when he bids goodbye.

"jake," i look at him as soon as the girls are gone, "they're just classmates." he brushes off when i look at the blush girl taking glances at him.

"if you ever think about cheating, i will cut off your balls," i tell him before getting up.

jake looked at me terrified as i laughed a little, "i have never been that scared," he says taking my hand, "i love it."

jake pulls me by the waist, leaving a kiss on my temples, "ice cream?" i nod when he giggles, "ice cream it is!"
