Huh...

The room was large, with wood walls covered with wallpaper which gave off a run-down motel smell mixed in with wood. The room consisted of a double bed in the middle of the room, a desk, a red and yellow rug in the middle, and drawers for storing clothes and other items. There was of course a bathroom as well.

"Okay! Well, let's get settled in and sleep, shall we?" you smiled at him, making up a plan for how to make this a good night's rest for both sides.

"Yeah, sure. I'll sleep on the ground, you can take the bed," he said taking off his purple vest, leaving it on the side with his weapons, and heading to the bathroom.

"Ahaha, no." you looked around the room and looked in the closet that was there, perhaps there were extra items or maybe even a futon for extra people or guests.

Luckily, there was, so you wouldn't have to worry about hurting anyone's pride or feelings for sleeping on the ground, because a futon was what you'd be sleeping on today!

You took it out, dusted it off, and laid it beside the bed, prepping your bedding.

Once you had finished, you waited for Genya to come out of the washroom and you laid your haori, your uniform shirt, and weapon on the side, beside Genya's.

The moment he came out, you immediately spoke.

"I'll be taking the futon I found in the closet on the ground, so please, I insist! Sleep on the bed!"

You said this quite loudly, it wasn't your intention, but it was too late to change your tone.

"GAH! Y-Y/N, don't come out of nowhere like that!" he looked at you, he was blushing as he walked out.

You were sure he was going to protest, so you went and laid down on the futon.

Quite the stubborn girl this Y/N is...

"Wait, no, I'll take the!- Oh. Okay then. I'll take the bed.." he looked depressed as he unbuttoned the top few buttons of his white shirt that was under his uniform as he lay down on the bed, staring at the ceiling.

"Great! Good night, Genya! It was a good mission today!"

"...Yeah, good night Y/N. Good work..."

You smiled at his words as you quickly left to the washroom to wash your face, cleaning the filth and blood off, leaving and laying down once more, going to sleep...

Chrip! Chirp!

You squinted your eyes, rubbing them, as you hear the faint chirping of birds and chatter of the crowds of people off to their own business.

You turned as you got up, sitting criss-cross as you grumbled, too tired to open your eyes.

Opening your eyes, you saw that Genya was getting dressed to leave. He got up a lot earlier than you.

When Genya woke up, he didn't know whether to wake you up, leave you be and leave, or let you have your rest and wait until you woke up for the both of you to leave together. He didn't decide, so he just waited until you'd wake up, then he'd know what to do.

"...Oh... Genya..! G-good morning..." you yawned as you greeted him

He got flustered as he turned back to you and greeted you loudly.

"G-GOOD MORNING! Oh, whoops... Sorry... Too loud."

You winced at the loud tone but quickly forgave him.
