A/n: I've been highly inspired to do this idea for a long time now, mainly since I've been playing a lot, and I mean, A LOT of "Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom" in the last week. It's really fun, and I would recommend getting the game if you have a Nintendo Switch

Plot:
Y/n wasn't know as the most popular kid in school. In fact, he was the social outcast, and many people didn't like him, mainly because of his feminine appearance, and the fact that he doesn't talk with others, due to him being "cheated" on in the past, mainly because the girl was dared to do it.
However, Y/n's entire life changes when he finds a mysterious sword in an old abandoned theme park. How did he find it, you may ask? Well, he was dared alongside the most popular girl in their high school, Kura Rivera, to go inside it by their classmates.
When they do, they learn about some ancient history that the world didn't even know about, and was only said to be a myth. To make things crazier, as they go further down the area, as they notice and odd mist coming out of it, they notice a mummy being held by a single hand.
However, before they could head out Y/n's classmates, who've been following the two, come in and start being reckless, which causes them to accidentally awaken the mummy, and have said mummy damage Y/n's right arm and the sword that he was holding.
Right before the mummy makes it's ultimate move, it says one thing. "Kura... the green haired one carrying that fragile sword... are Y/n... Rauru placed his faith in you... and that was all you could do?" After finishing that, the mummy uses the same power that damaged Y/n to send the park up into the sky, with Kura vanishing, the others falling to their possible deaths, and Y/n being rescued by the Disembodied arm.
After awakening on the Sky Islands, and having his right arm replaced by a spirit, to save him from death, Y/n must now find his way through his changed world, find his classmates, if they're still alive that is, find Kura, who has also gone missing, and solve the strange phenomenon that have been going on everywhere in the world.
