After the battle with the orcs, Sol and Althea decided to take a break and rest. They found a quiet spot in the forest, away from prying eyes, and settled down.

As they were resting, Althea suddenly felt a strange sensation in her skin. She realized that it was time for her to shed her snake skin.

Althea panicked and made a big deal out of the shedding process. She didn't want anyone to see her while she was molting and was embarrassed about it. She tried to hide behind a bush, hoping that Sol and Finley wouldn't notice.

But Sol and Finley were worried when they saw Althea's behavior. They thought that they might have done something wrong and that Althea was upset with them.

"Althea, what's wrong?" Sol asked.

"Nothing, I'm fine," Althea replied, trying to hide her skin shedding.

"You don't seem fine. Is there something we can do to help?" Finley added.

Althea hesitated for a long time, not sure if she should tell them. She was afraid that they would judge her or laugh at her for making a big deal out of it.

"I'm shedding my skin. It's embarrassing, and I don't want anyone to see me like this," Althea finally said, in a panicked tone.

Sol and Finley looked at each other, surprised. They had never seen a lamia molting before, but they knew that it was a natural process.

"Althea, there's nothing to be embarrassed about. It's a natural process, and we're here to help you," Sol said, trying to calm her down.

Finley nodded in agreement. "Yeah, we're your friends, and we want to make sure you're okay."

Althea took a deep breath and agreed to let them help her. She slithered out of her skin and revealed her new, shiny scales.

Sol and Finley helped her clean up and get rid of the old skin. They made sure that Althea felt comfortable and supported her throughout the process, even though it took longer than usual.

"Thank you, Sol and Finley. I know I made a big deal out of it, but I couldn't have done it without you," Althea said, feeling grateful.

"Of course, Althea. We're here for you, no matter what," Sol replied, smiling.

Finley added, "Yeah, we're a team, and we always have each other's backs."

Althea felt relieved and knew that she could always count on her friends. Shedding her skin might have been embarrassing, but with Sol and Finley's help, it became a bonding experience that strengthened their friendship.
