(A/N: I just reached 1,000 reads :D I'm so happy. I wanted to thank all of my readers by updating again early with a mini-story. This is in Paige's POV of the previous chapter. Enjoy :) and vote, comment, share, and yeah)
Paige's POV
"That was the most boring lecture ever" I said leaving my anthropology class with Luna.
"Yeah but that's got to be the best job in the world! People will pay to send you to other countries to study humanity. It's basically a paid vacation! I think I'm gonna make it my major. You should too! We could vacation together" Luna screeched excitedly.
"When I do pick my major it'll be because I love it. Not just for the vacation" I told her.
"When will you pick your major?" Luna asked rolling her eyes.
"Anyways what are you doing tonight?" I asked changing the subject, "Anthony got me exclusive tickets to the party at Club Iguana tonight. You want to come with me?" I knew that she couldn't resist a party.
"YES! Yes I want to go! When you say Anthony do mean the Anthony Rivera? I nodded and she screeched loudly.
"And that was my ear" I said wincing. "Come to my place tonight at 8 and we'll carpool there"
"Oh" Luna said as she stopped walking. Her face now stern, "I didn't know we'd be meeting at your house."
"What's wrong with my house?" I asked defensively.
"Nothing it's just that...." she trailed off
"That what huh? You got a problem with where I live?" I asked ticked off.
"No no it's not that at all. It's your roommate." she admitted
"Sheilah?" I said perplexed. Everyone always liked Sheilah. She kept to herself and never said anything to my wide variety of company.
"Yes her." she hissed "She hates me."
"She doesn't hate anybody" I said reassuringly.
"Except for me!" She whined "Last time I was there she was like 'Could you stop smoking in my house?'" She imitated Sheilah in a nasally voice.
"She had asthma as a kid"
"Well she's still kind of a killjoy. You know what I mean?" She asked.
I was tempted to defend my best fried but Luna was right. Sheilah was boring. She hated going to clubs with me. She was always acting like a mother. I sighed.
"Don't worry she won't be there tonight" I lied an Luna sighed a sigh of relief.
"Ok good. I'll see you later." she said walking away. How am I going to get Sheilah out of the house?
***
By 8 I was dressed and ready. The car that my Anthony had sent for me wouldn't arrive until 9 but I told Luna to come early because I just knew she'd be late so I figured the knock on the door was Sheilah.
"Heeeeeeyyyyy girlllll! I got pre-party drinks!" Luna said as she came in with her red cups and pitcher full of pink liquid.
"Luna you're here on time?"
"Yea it's new. I gotta curl my hair first though." She said as she set up a mini hair salon by the mirror. How could a girl with so little hair need so much for it?
I heard my phone ringing so I checked the screen.
Sheilah.
If I answered she'd probably need a ride home. That'd make me late for the party and she'd be upset seeing Luna here.
