When Adriane woke up an hour later she felt like her body was made of lead. She also noticed that her body was shaking slightly as pain filled her entire being. She needed to get to a healer, preferably a Goblin healer.
She stumbled as she did her best to stand up, swaying back and forth. She had to grab the end table to keep from falling. "D-Dobby!." Her voice was raspy and dry.
A soft pop signified Dobby's arrival, "Mistress Adriane, Yous be awake!" He looked overjoyed before it turned to worry, "Oh nos, yous be hurt!"
"Yes I am, please take me to Grinlast and ask for a Goblin healer." She told Dobby, she felt like she could pass out at any time and she didn't want him to panic not knowing what to do.
It was a good thing she told him that because as soon as he popped her into Grinlast's office she passed out, the last thing she saw was the shocked look on the Goblin's face at seeing the condition she was in.
When she woke up next, she felt a lot better. She was still sore, lightheaded, and had a headache but it wasn't nearly as bad as it had been when she first woke up.
Her mouth felt like cotton and she let out a groan as the harsh lights of the Goblin infirmary agitated her headache and made her eyes ache. Her groan alerted Grinlast's sister, Karlast that she was awake.
"Ah you're finally awake, how are you feeling?" She asked as she walked over to stand beside Adriane's bed.
"I feel like I was run over by a car," Adriane mumbled in her groggy and rough voice. Karlast quickly poured her a cup of water from the pitcher on the side table and helped her sit up slightly and drink it.
"Easy now, you've been out for over a day. We did our best to help you but there will still be some sourness since we don't know what happened."
Adriane looked at her confused, "Wouldn't the medical charm tell you what was wrong?"
"While normally yes, this time the charm didn't tell us anything except that you were sore and in pain. Normally it tells us what's wrong and what caused it." Karlast explained, she knew Adriane's training had mostly covered defense and hardly covered anything medical-wise. She learned a few medical charms for emergencies and she knew enough non-magical medical knowledge to get by.
This was something Karlast disliked, she felt that if someone was going to learn to fight they should learn to heal as well so if and when they got hurt they could heal themselves. It didn't have to be perfect, it just needed to last long enough so they could get away and get to a proper healer.
"I was hit by a stunner and then by a Crucio by Voldemort."
Karlast gasped and rushed out of the room leaving Adriane sitting there confused. She came back minutes later with a potion and Grinlast following on her heels.
"No wonder you were so hurt, drink this it helps with the aftereffects of the Cruciatus curse. You will feel sore and shake off and on for a month unless you take this potion" The goblin healer spoke as she gently shoved the potion into Adriane's hands.
"The cruciatus curse isn't the cause of all the pain though, when I woke up from the stunner I was lightheaded, dizzy, and couldn't think or use my strength to get out of simple ropes that were holding me to a stone statue."
"You two know that normally I could easily get out of those ropes, they weren't enchanted so it would have been super easy."
Grinlast and Karlast shared a look before Grinlast spoke, "You couldn't use your strength at all?"
Adriane shook her head in response, "And this was after getting hit with a stunner and before getting hit with the cruciatus curse. I know Superman said that Kryptions were weak against magic but I never realized how much that was."
