A few hours after Adriane had watched the spaceship that held Gohan, Bulma, and Krillin shoot off from the planet, she and Goku were walking into Gringotts Bank. Goku was looking around with excitement, and Adriane was just glad that they weren't in the British branch of the bank. Goku would have attracted a lot of negative attention that Adriane couldn't handle at the moment.

The pair didn't have to wait long before they were brought back to Grinlast's new office.

"Adriane, I offer my condolences. As soon as the life orbs for Sirius and Jack went dark, I was alerted."

Grinlast was standing in front of his desk, with his head bowed and his fist over his heart. Adriane blinked back tears at the sight; she was so lucky that she managed to befriend her account manager.

"Thank you, Grinlast. I have a few things I have to do, and you might believe I'm crazy when I tell you them."

Grinlast looked confused, so she kept speaking.

"Firstly, I need to make a will. Considering how hectic my life has been up to now, I really should have done this already."

Grinlast went behind his desk and took out a piece of paper and a pen. It looked like he updated his writing tools when he switched banks.

"Secondly, do not tell anyone that Sirius and Jack are dead. There's a way to bring them back, but to do that, I have to go to another planet," Adriane spoke, her voice serious.

Grinlast looked at her like she was crazy. Thankfully, Adriane had been expecting that look, so she didn't feel hurt. She knew that if someone came up to her and told her that they were going to another planet to bring back their dead uncle and godfather, she would be worried for their mental health.

Luckily, she brought someone who could explain the Dragon Balls to Grinlast.

"Goku, can you tell Grinlast about the Dragon Balls?" She turned to look at Goku, who nodded with a big smile.

"Sure! Before I get into the explanation though, can I just say it's awesome to meet you? You look strong, we should spar sometime!" Goku exclaimed happily.

Grinlast chuckled softly. "You wish to spar against a goblin? Not many people would be so bold as to ask that, nor would many people want to spar against us in the first place."

Goku just laughed. "I like a good spar against strong opponents."

It was like a switch flipped, because after he said that, Goku got serious.

"Adriane wants me to explain what Dragon Balls are. They are seven powerful orange balls. Each ball has a star in it—for example, when I was young, my Grandpa Gohan gave me the four-star ball before he died."

Grinlast motioned for Goku to continue, and he did.

"If you gather all seven Dragon Balls and call out for Shenron, the great dragon will appear. The sky will turn dark no matter what time it is, and it will be filled with the biggest dragon you'll ever see."

Grinlast looked curious, and Adriane wasn't sure if he believed Goku or not.

"Now, Shenron will grant you one wish. It can be almost anything you want. If you want to bring someone back from the dead, you can. Though if you've already brought them back once, then Shenron can't do it—there's a limit to his powers."

Looking at Adriane, Grinlast asked, "Why must you travel off-world to find these 'Dragon Balls' if they are on Earth?"

Adriane sighed and gestured for Goku to continue.

"That's because Kami is the one who made the Dragon Balls. If he dies, then they no longer work. Sadly, long ago Kami separated his good and evil selves. The good one stayed as Kami, while the evil one took up the name Piccolo."
