Zenitsu, trembling with fear as always, was on a mission fraught with danger. He couldn't stop thinking about Tanjiro. He wondered why Tanjiro had gone to bed earlier than usual and what could have been troubling him.
A little later his sensitive ears picked up a distant conversation between two demons. They were discussing their sadistic plans for a helpless young girl. Zenitsu's heart raced with a mix of terror and determination. With his lightning-fast speed, he rushed towards the demons, determined to save the innocent child.
In a flash, Zenitsu struck with precision, eliminating the demonic threat and freeing the girl from their clutches. Overwhelmed with relief, Zenitsu asked if she was alright, his voice filled with concern. As the girl sobbed in fear and confusion, Zenitsu's own anxiety got the better of him, and he found himself trembling uncontrollably.
Unexpectedly, the girl approached Zenitsu, placing a comforting hand on his shoulder. Her touch brought him a sense of solace amidst his own fears. In a moment of irrational bravery, Zenitsu, still trembling, asked for her hand in marriage. Despite her repeated refusals, Zenitsu's persistence bordered on comedic, until the girl, puzzled and slightly exasperated, delivered a swift slap across his face before fleeing.
Zenitsu, rubbing his stinging cheek, watched her disappear into the distance. His heart, forever the hopeless romantic, yearned for love even in the most unconventional circumstances. With a sigh, he realized he had let his imagination run wild once again.
As Zenitsu made his way back to the mansion, he spotted Tanjiro sprinting past him with an air of urgency.
Intrigued and concerned, Zenitsu followed, hiding behind a tree to observe. To his astonishment, Tanjiro suddenly collapsed to the ground, overcome with sorrow and weeping uncontrollably. Confusion clouded Zenitsu's mind as he watched Tanjiro's emotional display, searching for any visible cause of his anguish. After a brief moment, Tanjiro composed himself, his confusion evident in his gaze, before continuing on his way.
Baffled by the encounter, Zenitsu pondered the strange incident, the unexplained weeping and the enigma that surrounded Tanjiro's actions. With a lingering sense of unease, he decided to set aside his questions for the time being and returned to the mansion, where more mysteries awaited them.
