Chapter 27

He looked at me hesitantly but seeing as I was his only option at the moment he huffed but grabbed my hand none the less. The sparks exploded immediately and a small smile erupted on my face as it also reminded me of Jose. His eyes looked at our hands feeling the same sparks but not enjoying them like I was. He looked at me pushing all the emotions out of his face and becoming that unreadable person once again. I closed my eyes and took deep breaths in to center myself. 

Mother if you can hear me please help me help him he seems to really need to talk to someone who has passed. 

My daughter  Her voice echoed in my mind and I smiled at the sound I can bring her spirit here so she can speak but it will not be for long as she can not be gone from heaven for longer than a few minutes, I will also need her name.

My mother explained and I nodded before opening my eyes and seeing him looking at me strangely. "I can bring her here to talk to you but only for a couple of minutes, her spirit can not be out of heaven longer than that." I explained his eyes widened in surprise at my words. "I can give you that if you wish." I stated as he hadn't spoken just stared at me with that unreadable expression. 

"You can..... really let me talk to her again?" He questioned hope clear in his voice as his face revealed nothing about his feelings. It remained that stony chiseled face that stared back at me blankly.

I nodded smiling at him encouragingly before speaking again. "I need her name."

"Elva her name was Elva" He said his voce slightly raspy as he speaks her name

I nod my head at him and squeeze his hand in mind for comfort. I close my eyes and focus once again as I speak to my mom. 

Elva mom that was her name. I could feel my mothers presence and it made me relax as her presence was like a blanket of calm that surrounded me. I could feel her smile and place her hand on mu shoulder. I felt a sudden wave of energy and opened my eyes, they glowed white as I looked at the mate in front of me. He looked at me eyebrows raised as his breathing quickened in shock. 

"La naiba" (oh fuck)" he spoke but I didn't understand what he said as I looked back at him

"Marius?" A soft voice spoke and made both of us turn to it, a female stood not to far from us. Immediately my mate dropped my hand and a slight pang hurt my heart but I only dropped my hand and watched as he stepped towards her in surprise. He lifted his hand towards her face and gently cupped it as if he would break her. He gasped lowly in surprise as his other hand now cupped her other cheek. Tears began falling from his eyes as he looked at her she looked confused at him then to me but allowed him to touch her.

"Sunt eu, iubirea mea, mi-ai fost atât de dor de tine. (its me my love, I missed you so much)" he said back to her in a language I didn't know 

They continued to talk and she began to comfort him as he broke down in front of her. She looked at me a couple of times as they spoke and she then cupped his cheek in a loving manner and said something to him. His body tensed then relaxed as he slowly began to slump down. He wrapped his arms around her in a tight embrace and she smiled as she returned it. He pulled back and looked at her lovingly and my wolf couldn't help but feel jealousy at the intimacy of it all. Elvas body began to fade and I knew her tike was almost up, my heart throbbed as I watched him smile at her and cup her cheek before slowly leaning in. I quickly turned around not wanting to watch that act of intimacy. It was after all of this my slow brain made the connection that they were together before, she was his mate and she had passed away. My heart hurt for him as the thought of loosing a mate was too much to bare.

I closed my eyes as I felt the shift of energy and knew Elva had returned to heaven. I sighed feeling my mothers presence no longer with me. When I opened my eyes I could feel they were back to normal and I slowly turned back around. He stood in the same spot looking down at the ground probably processing everything that had happened. I stepped closer to him the urge to comfort him moving my body with out me thinking about it. I placed my hand on his shoulder and he flinched at my touch as if he had forgotten I was here. He shook his head then shrugged my hand off before heading back into the forest.

"Hey wait." I said taking a step closer to him to follow him

"Don't" was all he said and it made me stop in my tracks, that as well as the sound of paws behind me that were clearly heading in our direction. I turned in the direction of the sound and watched as my brothers pushed through the branches. I sighed and turned back ready to explain who the man was but he had already disappeared into the forest.

"Your bleeding what happened?" My brothers question brought me out of my mind as I looked down and realized I still had blood on me from the fight. I faced them and shook my head as I raised my hands at him.

"its not mine I am fine." I said as I walked passed him and his naked self. I didn't have time to explain everything that just happened as my own mind was still trying to wrap itself around what just happened. The second mate and the women I just helped him speak to was not a werewolf she was human. There were so many questions racing in my mind as I walked inside. The stares and worried glances from my pack didn't phase me as i headed to my bathroom to shower. Thankfully my mate wasn't in here as I wasn't ready to explain to him what was happening and what had happened. The blood on me was not gonna help anyone if he had seen me come in like that. 

I strip and begin to shower as I watch all the blood wash off of me and down the drain my mind races. Should I tell him I have another mate? What about the other mate? Is he gonna come back? Is he gonna reject me? What did his mate tell him?  

I sighed in frustration as I now had more questions than answers to any of my previous problems. I closed my eyes and put my head under the warm running water. Did that change the vision I had? Is my family safe now?
