Chapter Four

"Alexis it's happening again I can feel it coming." I said panicked as I recalled the way to the basement and made my way there

"As soon as we stop I can put another spell on you." she responded as she huffed trying to keep up with my hurried pace

"Will it wear off like the other one?" I asked as I flung the doors open banging against the basement walls and shutting right behind us.

"As long as I am always near you this one should not wear off. My spell will be more powerful the closer I am to you." she explained as she turned to lock the doors.

I ran down the dim hallways as I recalled the way to the room we used as a gym. No one should be down there right now and I can lock it from the inside. That would be the perfect place to be in until the spell goes into effect.

Opening the doors to the gym I quickly scanned the room to make sure no one was inside before locking the door behind Alexis.

"Okay you need to do it now!" I yelled as the burning grew more and more painful. Falling to my knees from the pain I hugged myself as tight as I possibly could as if that was going to stop the heat from getting any worse.

She only nodded then closed her eyes to concentrate on the spell. She started murmuring in another language but I couldn't focus on anything other than the pain my body felt and the heat slowly increasing.

It will all be over soon, I am so sorry you have to go through this. My wolf apologized and whimpered as she get my pain

Jose's POV

She ran from me again and now she has another males shirt on?

Why the hell did she start growling in the first place?

Where did she go now?

These are all questions that ran through my head as I watched my mate disappear inside the pack house.

If you paid attention you would smell it but you're so caught up in your pride you don't pay attention. My wolf growled out

What are you talking about? I asked but one sniff of the air told me all I had to know.

She was starting her heat once again, I had to get to her. I immediately started for the pack house but her pack stood in the way.

We don't have time for this! My wolf angrily growled out

My pack instinctively growled at hers but i quickly silenced them with a raise of my hand.
