My brain throbbed in protest and the lights from outside and the pack house were ridiculously bright. Sore muscles ached with every step and move of any part of my body. I was exhausted but sleep wouldn't take me and I couldn't just lay in bed when the death of everyone was coming. I had to try to cause a vision or something to get a clue about what had to change or anything to help.

I walked into the kitchen nodding in acknowledgement to the morning greeting as I grabbed an apple and walked outside. The last time I had a vision it was in my sleep, maybe I have to concentrate on something specific. I wasn't thinking about anything in particular when I did fall a sleep so how exactly did I just manifest this vision?

There were so many unanswered question and variables to trying to get this stupid power to work on my will. Being blind with this and not having anyone to give me step by step training was frustrating. Taking an angry bite out of my apple I continued my walk looking for a secluded quiet place I could focus. After a couple of minutes of walking I found a place a ways away from the pack house and a couple of feet away from my boarder where. There was a bunch of boulders sort of sitting in a semi-circle like a crescent moon shape. I jumped gracefully landing on one of the bigger boulders then plopping down in an Indian sitting style. I chunked the left over apple in my hands on the ground before taking a couple of deep breaths.

Once I centered myself I closed my eyes and rested my hands on my knees. I tried not to focus on the noises around me but my own breathing. My mind drifted to thoughts of my pack and pushed to see the future but nothing. I stayed there for what felt like hours but was probably like ten minutes before frustration re entered my calm being.

"Ugh why is this so fucking hard to do." I groaned out loud opening my eyes and staring as nothing in particular in front of me. I ran my hand through my hair and sighed leaning my head back and staring at the blue sky as if an answer was just going to drop into my lap. Sighing for the billionth time I turned my gaze back to the forest catching movement of a bunny rabbit scurrying around looking for food. I watched it titling my head in curiosity all other thoughts left my brain and my soul focus was on this rabbit. My breathing slowed and I could hear my heart beat in my ears. My vision then began to un-focus and focus until everything just started to blur into different colors. Then in a split second it was as if the bunny rabbits life was playing in front of me kind of like a movie. Every aspect of its life until its death which wouldn't come for a couple of years thankfully.

Just as quickly as it had began it disappeared and everything came back into focus the bunny gone from its original place. I blinked a couple of times my eyes slightly burning and my vision blurry. I smiled as I realized I did it, not exactly how I wanted that to happen and I am still not sure how it even happened but I did it awake which is a step forward. Its gonna take some time but now I have some what of an idea on how. I jumped down from the boulder landing on my feet excitement making me forget about my exhaustion for the time being.

I jumped up and fist pumped the air then patted myself on my back for figuring something out. The excitement was short lived when the hairs on my body stood up in warning. I listened hearing a heart beat near me but it was the scent that made me stand in a defensive stance my teeth bared and claws growing. Cinnamon and mint the same scent from last night the one that made it past the patrol wolves. Whoever it was was close their heart beat was loud yet calm and the scent was strong. No movement or any words had come from the mysterious person so I spoke first.

"Show yourself, incase you didn't know you are trespassing on my land." I growled out finally pin pointing where the heart beat was coming from. My wolf paced inside of my mind not saying a word but something was bothering her. It took a couple of minutes before anything happened almost as if the intruder was debating responding or doing what I asked. I let a low growl ripple past my clenched teeth in warning to prove my seriousness.

"Oh trust me I know whose land it is." a male voice responded as he stepped out from behind the tree his hands up in a I'm not a threat way although the look on his face was showing the complete opposite. "I didn't expect to find you here" he said his jaw tight almost as if agitated at my presence.

"Well this is my pack where else would I be? " I growled out tilting my head in slight confusion "Have we met before?" I questioned looking at his features as he seemed to speak as if we knew each other.

"We have never officially met but I do know an awful lot about you." he responded in an annoyed tone dropping his hands to his side. This man was on my property trespassing and has the audacity to act like I'm the problem? The tone of his voice didn't sit well with my wolf either. I just tossed it to being about the disrespect on our own land and the Alpha in us displeased with what we found.

He was quite tall maybe 6 feet and his body was massively built as if lifting weights was an everyday thing for this man. His muscles where very defined even visible from under his clothing. He had tanned skin and a full sleeve of tattoos on his arm leading up to his neck it seemed. My mind wondered if he had any more on his body and what they were or meant if they had any meaning. His face was nicely framed by shoulder length black hair and it was half up half down at the moment. Stubble ran across his jaw and tanned cheeks that seemed like a full beard would come from it in a couple of days. Scars that looked pretty old but oddly good on him littered randomly on his face. A scowl sat on his face when my eyes connected with his hazel eyes my heart skipped a beat as a small gasp left my lips. My wolfs ears perked up as her attention was fully drawn to the man in front of me our eyes now locked.
