The Princess and The Togepi

The gang had received news that their friend, Misty, was coming to see them. She was going to stay in the Hoenn Region for a few days.

"I can't wait to see Misty again." Mairin said, smiling.

"So Misty is the gym leader of Cerulean City, right?" May asked.

"Yeah, she's a great one too." Cora replied.

"Although I'm still a little bit mad at her and her sisters for what happened." Alain admitted.

"What? What they do?" Max questioned.

"They forced Alain and Cora to the prince and princess of one of their water shows." Mairin revealed.

"I can't believe that all the girls were attracted to Alain's merman form." Brock whined.

Ash and Max sweat-dropped at that comment.

"And Cora was so beautiful as a mermaid." Mairin added.

Alain and Cora blushed at those statements.

Mairin sighed, "Unfortunately Team Rocket interrupted the show."

"Chespin." Chespie said.

"Well that must have been a bummer." May commented.

"Espe! (Look!)" Kilala spoke up, pointing her paw in a certain direction.

The gang followed her line of sight and saw Misty coming towards them.

"Misty!" Cora, Ash and Mairin called out as they waved their hands.

"Espeon!"

"Chespin!"

"Togepi!"

"Pikapi!"

"Hi, Cora, Alain, Mairin, Ash and Brock how've you been?" Misty asked.

"Toge toge toge!" Togepi chirped.

"We've been doing great." Cora replied, "You must be pretty busy at the gym, huh?"

"Tough, my sisters like to give me all the work." Misty stated.

Then she noticed May and Max.

"Oh, you must be May and Max, right?" Misty asked.

May was instantly right in front of Misty, "Hi to you too! We've heard so much about you!" She greeted.

"Nice to meet you too, Misty." Max greeted. Then he noticed Misty's Togepi, "Wow, you have a Togepi as well?"

"Yup, I've had him for a while, and he means a lot to me." Misty replied.

"He's so cute!" May squealed.

"Toge togephriii!" Togepi chirped.

"It was thanks to Togepi that I was able to meet up with you all." Misty said.

"What do you mean?" May asked.

Misty gave Brock an envelope. He opened it, "An invitation to a Togepi Festival? A gathering of all Togepi trainers." He read.

"And it's being held in this hotel." Misty added, looking at the building next to them.

"Interesting." Alain commented.

"Luckily, they can allow guests. So I thought that I should invite you all." Misty stated.

"But how come I didn't get one?" Mairin asked.

"Well that's strange since you have a Togepi yourself." Max commented.

"I'm starting to sense a set up." Cora stated.
