Sophie's POV:

Sophie was thinking about how handsome Fitz looked, with his movie-star smile and gorgeous teal eyes. It didn't help that he was wearing a dark blue fitted tunic that matched her dress perfectly. When Biana asked if she wanted to play something, she agreed so she could go back to her thoughts. Too late she realized what Biana must have said that made her so happy; Truth or Dare. Her protests were cut off, so she had no choice but to sit through it. At least it was Fitz's turn, so it shouldn't be too boring.

"Truth," he said nervously. Clearly, this was what Biana had been waiting for, because she instantly asked the question that changed everything.

"Do you like Sophie as more than a friend?"

Keefe's POV:

As soon as Biana asked that, Foster's emotions skyrocketed. Happiness, nervousness, hopefulness, and a million others that would give him a headache trying to figure out. Everyone waited for Fitz's response, the suspense growing every second. His face turned a deep shade of pink and he muttered something under his breath.

"What was that, dear brother?" Biana asked sweetly.

Fitz cleared his throat, and said, "Yes," quietly, avoiding eye contact with anyone.

"Yes, what?" Biana prompted, not letting either of them find any loopholes.

"Yes, I like Sophie as more than a friend," Fitz snapped at her, and instantly both of them turned as red as tomatoes.

"I like you too," Sophie said shyly, for once not hiding behind her hair.

"Give the lovebirds some room to finally stop being oblivious and date," Biana ordered, shoving everyone out the door and shutting it. Once everyone including herself was outside, she shot Keefe an apologetic look. "Look, I know you like Sophie, but she and my brother are happy together," she said softly, not meaning for it to hurt as much as it did. He flinched but nodded, eyes hard.

"I'm alright," he said roughly, "As long as Sophie's happy." Biana's eyes looked sad when she noticed he didn't call her Foster. He knew he would start having to act more reserved around Sophie. That way she and Fitz could be happy without him intervening. Fitz probably knew about his crush on her, but he could back off just to be safe.

When Sophie and Fitz came out, they were holding hands. Sophie's emotions were radiating bliss and peacefulness. If Fitz made her that happy, he could survive his long-time crush dating his best friend. (A/N This story is NOT Fitzphie/Sofitz)

"So, finally done with the Great Foster Oblivion, are we?" Ro asked, sauntering into the room. Keefe cringed, waiting for her to blow his cover. Thankfully, Sophie interrupted before she could.

"You guys knew?" She demanded. She looked so cute when she got all fierce, with this look in her eyes that seemed to say, You mess with me, your loss. Of a hand. Adorable. Not adorable, Keefe mentally scolded himself, you can't keep thinking like that if she's with Fitz!

"Everyone knew that you two have been in love with each other practically since you met, Sophie!" Linh squealed. Marella scoffed.

"Can we just continue the Truth or Dare?" she demanded. Dex put an arm around her and she calmed down.

"Sounds more fun than watching Fitzphie," Keefe said. "What did I tell you guys? I knew they were meant for each other." He smirked, trying not to show that he was jealous.

"Now we have to deal with Keefe's endless tormenting," Fitz groaned, but you could tell he was happy to be constantly reminded that he was dating the most powerful elf the Lost Cities had ever seen.

Keefe nodded "That's right! I'm probably going to create the ballad of Fitzphie! The first lines will be about how oblivious you both were," he informed them.

"Guys, let's just get back to the game," Biana cut in.

"Also, Sophie and Fitz had better stop holding hands before I throw up," Tam added. Fitz and Sophie reluctantly stepped away from each other. Keefe sent a semi-grateful smile to Bangs Boy.

"Alright, Bangs Boy, Truth or Dare?" Keefe asked.

"I'm not answering any questions and ending up with someone, so dare," he answered.

"I dare you to kiss Biana. On the lips," Keefe told him.

Tam's POV:

"WHAT?" Tam shouted. "There's no way I'm doing that." And there's no way I'm letting Biana know I like her. He added to himself.

"Come on, I know you want to. Biana definitely does," Keefe replied. Dex and Fitz snickered while Biana glowered at Keefe. "Besides, it's Truth or Dare. You have to do it."

"Fine, but only because I would never back down from a dare," Tam grumbled. He moved towards Biana and gave her a questioning look. Biana blushed and nodded. Her teal eyes seemed to pull him in, and he wondered if that was how Fitz and Sophie felt when they stared into each other's eyes. Tam leaned towards her and gave her a quick peck on the lips. To her credit, Biana stood perfectly still, but when Tam pulled away her face was beet red.

Tam rounded on Keefe. "You tell me to do that again and I'm leaving," he growled.

"All right, but thank me before you go," Keefe replied.

Tam scowled, but then he got an idea. "Hey Keefe, Truth or Dare?" he asked.

"Trying to get back at me?" Keefe smirked. "It's not gonna work, just so you know. Lord Hunkyhair never backs down from a dare."

"I dare you to let everyone in this room dump Mallowmelt in your hair," Tam said. Be grateful I'm not making you kiss Sophie, he shadow whispered. Keefe looked at him then and his face was PRICELESS!

Della's POV:

"Not the HAIR!" Keefe groaned, but nodded. The kids were playing some human game Sophie had told them about. By the time Della called them over for supper, Keefe had colorful mallowmelt all over his hair, and Fitz was carrying Sophie on his, and Biana was looking anywhere but at Keefe. What did those kids do? She wondered. They quickly devoured their food, and ran upstairs again, looking sleepy. Della sighed, content, and rubbed her swollen belly. Tomorrow will be a fun day.
