I'm not gonna continue this as I am now writing a much much better-written story on another account (@ihatelifeandsodoyou).
However, it is, of course, a gay romance bxb furry story, so if you hate that kind of stuff I understand lol. Currently, it's only two chapters (+a prologue), so nearly 10,000 words, but so far I have been having ideas flooding my head. Like, non-stop. I think it's because I use personal experience(?).
The book is titled "Leaves, Seasons, and Dead Trees." It is set in a fictional college (Hoovensguaard University) somewhere in a fictional city (Monteverde Glen) in Utah and, of course, still takes a slow-burn approach in its storytelling (deliberate pacing is my guilty pleasure lol). In short, it will have elements like existentialism and things along the line, but in a much more realistic manner with minimum romanticization. The story will bring about the themes of addiction, human connection, and second chances as the main themes.
The gist of the story: a freshman leaving his past and his abusive parents encounters his ex-high school bully who is also his ex-best friend, and he starts to believe that life may not be on his side after all when he finally has that chance to move on. However, what he doesn't understand is that everybody and everything can change.
If you're interested, please do check out my story. The story will be updated 3-5 chapters per month and not have strict scheduling, and may consist more than 40 chapters. Spur-of-the-moment? Not really, because this idea has been with me for several months.
Now they're all said, thank you for your attention and reading this fanfic. You all are the best.
I wish you all the best of luck in life, and I hope life will treat you well as soon as possible 💖
