RACHEL

As stuffing my face with the honey-roasted peanuts and whatever else this party is serving, I only eat like this when I'm anxious or nervous about something, like if Andrea's and Ezra's conversation came out well as I know it will; I put down the glass bowl of food when there's so much noise coming from the living room with Jasper tapping on his whiskey glass.

"Hello, everyone. I wanted to thank each of you guys for coming today to celebrate mine and my beautiful," he awkwardly laughed as looking all over the place to find Andrea, then saw her and Ezra behind him. I see them smiling so much, and it's my swell of happiness for them, then breaks because I wish I had that good of a relationship with my actual mother. Ezra begins towards me as I continue watching Jasper holding Andrea's hand and kissing her cheek, "Here she is. What I was saying," he raises his glass, "Let's raise our glass for endless love, happiness, and bringing our families closer than ever and Andrea," he looks at her with hopeful eyes of love with his soon-to-be bride, "I can't wait to call you mine forever. I love you, Andrea," they share a kiss.

I see Ezra and others around us clapping for the happy couple. I love seeing this side of him. I want more of it.
