Chapter 2

(Y/n) tossed and turned at night, tears gathered at the corner of his eyes. Suddenly he jolted up with a loud gasp, his hands clutching the blanket tightly. "Egh... Damn..." (Y/n) mumbled as he rubbed his face, realizing it was another nightmare. With effort, he got out of bed, no longer wanting to go back to sleep.

When he opened the door, he came face to face with Crowley, with his fist raised. "Huh? Dire Crowley? What are you doing here?" (Y/n) asked tiredly. "Oh, good, you are up, perfect! I wanted to talk to you about your stay here" Crowley said as he stepped into (Y/n)'s room. "Although you are not supposed to be freeloading here. This school is somewhat responsible for your transportation. So I will let you remain in this dorm, free of charge!" Crowley said with a proud smile.

"Okay...?" (Y/n) questioned, having thought he was allowed to stay in the dorm rent-free anyways. "However, you will need to pay for your own food, clothing, and incidentals," Crowley said with a wag of his finger. "I guess that makes sense... But I currently have no money" (Y/n) noted with a blank look.

"Right, you are! That's why, I, as great as I am, will just give you a few odd jobs for a bit of cash. Your first job will be janitorial and handyman. If you agree, I will make a special exception and allow you to remain on campus. Including allowing you to use the library! My how boundless charitable I am!" Crowley said with his hands on his hips.

"Wait... First I get unwillingly teleported, now I got to be a janitor? Great..." (Y/n) internally complained, visibly wilting. "Does this offer extend to Grim, too?" He asked curiously. "Huh? That monster that was tossed out? Not a chance, if I see him on campus, he'll be tossed out!" Crowley exclaimed with crossed arms. "Then go tell him to leave the dorm, he's here too" (Y/n) grumbled.

"What?! That feline is here too? I see... You must've trained him to be your familiar then. Very well, I'll allow your familiar the same treatment. Oh, how gracious am I?" Crowley boasted as he laughed to himself. "Is he delusional?" (Y/n) thought as he eyed Crowley with a judgmental look. "Now, do tell your familiar about this new arrangement, I welcome you as the newest members of Night Raven College's janitorial staff!" Crowley said happily.

"I did not accept though!" (Y/n) thought with wide eyes. "Dire Crowley-" (Y/n) tried to interrupt, but the male ignored him as he headed off, mumbling to himself. (Y/n)'s face scrunched in annoyance, now stuck with an unwilling job in the morning. "I think I'll go back to bed now..." (Y/n) mumbled as he slinked back to his bed.

"Look how far you've fallen, going from a sorcerer to a measly janitor! It's pathetic!" Sukuna mocked as (Y/n) swept up the floors with Grim. "It's either this or being left in the cold with no roof" (Y/n) grumbled, as he glared at the ground. "It's cute that you think I care" Sukuna teased, amused by his vessel's misery.

"Hey! Aren't you the kid who failed at being selected into a dorm? And the monster who no one summoned? So lame!" Ace commented as he walked up to them. "Looks like both of you also ended up as janitors! It's hilarious!" He mocked as he pointed at them. Instantly, an eyeball appeared on (Y/n)'s cheek to glare daggers into Ace's soul.

"Who does this brat think he is? I'll rip out his organs!" Sukuna growled, earning a judgemental look from his vessel. "Weren't you just mocking me earlier too? You're so hypocritical" (Y/n) said with a roll of his eyes. "Oi, you big jerk! Come over here so I can burn you to bits!" Grim growled, as (Y/n) stared at him with dotted eyes.

"Like you can do anything to me. Anyway, it's been a blast, but unlike you both, I have classes to get to. So, I'll let you get back to picking up trash, bye~" Ace said as he waved at them. "Myuh-uh! You ain't walkin' away from me! It's too late for that!" Grim exclaimed before tossing a fireball at Ace. "Hey now, don't do that! We could get kicked out!" (Y/n) hissed at Grim.
